Aaron Gordon scores 16 points in first game without Jamal Murray

Aaron Gordon had one of his better games of his Nuggets tenure on Wednesday, scoring 16 points (7-11 FG, 1-3 3-pt, 1-2 FT) to go with nine rebounds and three assists in 27 minutes during a win over the Heat.

Fantasy Impact:

In 10 games with Denver, Gordon is averaging just 11.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.7 blocks, and 0.8 3PM on 57.8% FG and 70.0% FT as his overall volume has dropped significantly from his time in Orlando but his scoring efficiency has soared. With the injury to Jamal Murray, Gordon will likely have a few more shots per game coming his way so hopefully we'll see an uptick in fantasy production over the next few weeks, when the Nuggets are scheduled to play four times per week over the next three weeks during the fantasy playoffs.
