Anthony Davis puts up 43 in Pelicans' loss

Tying his career high, Davis scored 43 points on an efficient 14-of-23 shooting. Playing 41 minutes, he also put up three assists. four steals, three blocks, and ten rebounds for his third double-double of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
It was the kind of performance everyone had been waiting to see out of this year's top fantasy pick, and it was bound to happen sooner of later. The Pelicans are a disappointing 0-5 to start the season, but luckily for fantasy owners, none of that matters with a stud like Davis. He is always going to get his minutes, and as long as he remains healthy, will continue to produce. Saturday, the Pelicans start a two-game series against Dallas (first away, second at home).
