Zach LaVine is opting into his $49 million player option for the Sacramento Kings. LaVine decided to take the money rather than become a free agent. (Shams Charania on X)
Fantasy Impact:
LaVine’s value is fairly low, so the move makes sense for him. He should have a fairly large role on the Kings bereft of talent roster. He’ll be fine for fantasy, but much of his value will come via scoring than elsewhere, so on off nights it might be a little rough.
