Marc Gasol scored 18 points on 7-for-17 shooting on opening night of the NBA season. He added three rebounds, two assists, four blocks and four turnovers.
Fantasy Impact:
Earlier this week, Sean Fitzpatrick reported that Gasol would be on a minutes restriction. He played 32 minutes in the win over the Timberwolves. The game was very close at the end, and may have forced head coach David Fizdale into playing Gasol longer than desired. Continue to watch his minutes tread going forward. Gasol also conceded some rebounds to JaMychal Green and James Ennis throughout the night.
