Sheldon Mac

The Hawks have traded for Sheldon Mac in a deal with the Wizards. Terms of what the Wizards have received in return have not been released.

Mac is currently out with a torn Achilles and is not worth fantasy consideration.

Sheldon McClellan has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a torn left Achilles. McClellan will have surgery on Tuesday while the Wizards will look at other options at guard.

With McClellan done for the season and Tim Frazier nicked up, Jodie Meeks stands to see a bump in minutes. The team could also look to bring in another guard cut by another team.

Sheldon McClellan started in place of Otto Porter for the second half of Wednesday's game against the Bulls. The severity of Porter's injury has yet to be determined.

Fantasy Impact

McClellan should only be added in deeper leagues, but could see a bump in production if Porter misses an extended period of time. He has started in place of Bradley Beal multiple times this season, so it looks probably that coach Scott Brooks will look to McClellan with Porter out.
