Travis Frederick retiring from the NFL at the age of 29

Frederick has decided to hang up his cleats after making it to five Pro Bowls in six seasons with the Cowboys. The lineman out of Wisconsin battled an autoimmune disorder that held him out of the entire 2018 season. Sources say that Frederick has been mulling this decision for a while, and now it’s official. He was signed through 2023 and will forfeit $7M of base salary he would have received this upcoming season. Needless to say, the All-Pro will be greatly missed by Cowboy Nation.
