Drake Maye, Patriots agree to terms on rookie contract

Rookie QB Drake Maye has agreed to terms on his four-year rookie contract with the New England Patriots, which will include a fifth-year option. (Mike Garafolo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Maye signed a four-year, $36.6 million contract, including a $23.4 million signing bonus. As the No. 3 pick, Maye will have expectations to be the future cornerstone of the Patriots franchise. However, his role should be monitored all offseason with the chance that QB Jacoby Brissett (one year, $8 million) could start for at least the beginning of the season while Maye develops.
