Martin was either limited or did not practice last week, he had been dealing with a minor quad injury. He was not listed on this week's injury report. (Buccaneers.com)
Martin insisted last week that his tweaked knee would not slow him down and he backed up his statement with 146 total yards against the Panthers. After scoring his first TD and 100-yard rushing game on the season, owners should be thrilled with Martin finally producing with all the touches he has been given. Martin, currently tied for 7th in rushing attempts, faces off against Jacksonville's stingy top 5 rush defense in Week 5.
The window for a good price for Martin may have already passed. With a string of good matchups to come after the bye-week and a QB that is really going to be dependent on a strong running game, Martin's contract year quench can't come soon enough.
