Fantasy Football Player Notes

Last season, in Weeks 6-18, Jacoby Brissett was the QB8 in fantasy points per game as he directed a pass-happy Arizona offense. He had 484 passing attempts during that span, which easily led all quarterbacks. Among 32 qualifying passers during those weeks, he was 21st in yards per attempt, 13th in passer rating, 14th in passing success rate, and 24th in CPOE. Brissett could be a decent QB2 for Week 1, but the Chargers' pass defense isn't a pushover, even without Jesse Minter. Last year, the Bolts allowed the eighth-fewest yards per attempt, the lowest passer rating, and the tenth-lowest passing success rate.
