Russell Wilson
(at ATL)
It might surprise many to know that Wilson was the QB14 in fantasy points per game last year. He had stellar marks across the board in efficiency metrics, ranking 11th in CPOE, third in adjusted completion rate, ninth in highly accurate throw rate, and 10th in fantasy points per dropback. Weâll see if he can keep up those marks for the Steelers this year. His first test isnât an easy one, though. Atlanta might have allowed the 10th-most passing touchdowns last year, but they were pretty tough in nearly every other category for passers. The Falcons permitted the sixth-lowest adjusted completion rate, the seventh-lowest CPOE, and the 10th-fewest yards per attempt. Wilson will have plenty of streamable weeks in 2024, but this likely wonât be one of them. Wilson has also been dealing with a calf issue this week that has limited him in practice all week. Wilson might not play this week. Monitor the news on Saturday, and Iâll continue to update the Primer as we learn more. The Packers take the conservative approach and have ruled out Lloyd for Week 1 (hamstring). He has been listed as questionable.Â
