Fantasy Football Player Notes

Justin Herbert and the Chargers offense have been utterly disappointing through two weeks. Herbert is the QB26 in fantasy points per game. Among 28 qualifying passers, Herbert ranks 12th in yards per attempt and 14th in highly accurate throw rate, but he also has the seventh-lowest passing success rate, the seventh-highest turnover-worthy throw rate, and the eighth-lowest fantasy points per dropback. Maybe Herbert turns things around this week against a struggling Bills pass defense, but he has faceplanted the last two weeks against lesser defenses. I'm not holding my breath that we see him looking like an MVP candidate in Week 3, but it's possible. The Bills have allowed the tenth-most yards per attempt, the fourth-highest passing success rate, and the sixth-most EPA per dropback.
