Fantasy Football Player Notes

Geno Smith is the QB24 in fantasy points per game, and that's really only on the strength of his game against the Lions. In his four other starts this season, Smith has failed to surpass 250 passing yards or toss for multiple scores in any of them. Among 29 passers, Smith is 13th in yards per attempt, 15th in passing success rate, 12th in hero throw rate, and he has the third-lowest aDOT. Smith is likely turning in another middling QB2 performance this week. New England has held passers to the 13th-fewest yards per attempt, the 11th-lowest CPOE, the seventh-fewest EPA per dropback, and the ninth-fewest fantasy points per dropback.
