FanDuel NBA Value Plays: (Monday, 3/13)

Welcome to the Monday edition of the NBA FanDuel value plays. This article will focus on the eight-game main slate on FanDuel. As always, be sure to pay attention to news around the league prior to the lineup lock time.  Let’s go ahead and take a look at my favorite value options for tonight.

Point Guard

Jordan Clarkson (LAL): $5,200 at DEN
Clarkson had easily his best game of the season last night against the 76ers, with 51.2 FanDuel points in 34 minutes. Ever since the Lakers traded away Lou Williams, Clarkson has been solid as the Lakers’ sixth man. Although I cannot predict another 50 burger out of him tonight, I do like his chances of having another solid game in a great,up-tempo matchup against the Nuggets.

Jamal Murray (DEN): $3,800 vs. LAL
Jameer Nelson is currently dealing with a hip flexor strain and is currently listed as questionable for tonight’s game against the Lakers. If he is unable to suit up, Murray will likely earn the start and would become and immediate elite value option on tonight’s slate. The Lakers have been awful against opposing point guards this season, allowing the most FanDuel points.

Shooting Guard

Evan Fournier (ORL): $5,500 at SAC
Fournier has been pretty steady in the month of March so far, scoring at least 20 FanDuel points in every game except one. Fournier is definitely in a decent spot to return good value tonight against the Kings, who have allowed the third-most FanDuel points to opposing shooting guards this year.

Jeremy Lamb (CHA): $4,000 vs. CHI
Another recommendation that hinders on the health of another player is Lamb. Nicolas Batum is currently listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s game against the Bulls. If he is unable to suit up, Lamb will become a very popular value option on tonight’s slate. The Bulls have looked terrible lately, so Lamb should have no issues reaching value if he sees close to 30 minutes tonight.

Small Forward

Brandon Ingram (LAL): $4,000 @ DEN
Ingram is not the most efficient player, but he has been seeing close to 35 minutes per game ever since the Lakers decided to play him over Luol Deng. Ingram is definitely in a great spot tonight against the Nuggets, who have been terrible against opposing small forwards this season. Even if the Lakers fail to keep this game close, Ingram will likely still see at least 30 minutes on the court.

Terrence Ross (ORL): $4,200 at SAC
Ross has come back down to Earth, after putting up some huge games immediately after being traded from the Raptors. With that being said. With that being said, he has still been consistently seeing at least 30 minutes in almost every game. I like his chances of getting back on track tonight against the Kings and he could be a sneaky, value GPP option on tonight’s slate.

Power Forward

David Lee (SAS): $4,700 vs. ATL
LaMarcus Aldridge will miss another game while he is dealing with a heart issue, which means that Lee will likely draw another start. Lee has been solid in games that Aldridge has missed this season, including a total of 53.2 FanDuel points in two starts in the last week. The matchup against Paul Millsap is not ideal, but the increased minutes and usage should allow Lee to reach value tonight.

Aaron Gordon (ORL): $5,600 at SAC
Ever since the Magic traded Serge Ibaka, Gordon has been a pretty reliable option. Since February 23rd, Gordon has averaged 26.6 FanDuel points in nine games. Tonight he has an outstanding matchup against the Kings, who have been dreadful against opposing power forwards this season.

Center

Ivica Zubac (LAL): $3,700 at DEN
Zubac has been playing musical chairs this season, bouncing back and forth between the Lakers’ D-League affiliate several times this year. He was called back up prior to last night’s game and drew the start against the 76ers. In his last two starts, he has been solid with a total of 24 points, nine rebounds, six blocks and a steal in a total of 36 minutes. If he starts again tonight, he should be able to provide some much-needed salary relief for your lineup, despite going up again Nikola Jokic.
