In this article, we will take a look at players who may be highly owned or overpriced and who you can feel comfortable fading. Let’s go ahead and take a look at some of the options to ignore for Week 15.

Quarterback
Marcus Mariota (TEN): $7,600 at SF
It’s going to very tempting for some to play Marcus Mariota this week against the 49ers. The 49ers defense has not gone from terrible to great by any means, but they have played slightly better over the past two weeks since Jimmy Garoppolo is talented enough to sustain drives and help the defense rest a little bit. The other part of the equation is that it seems like Mariota is not completely healthy. Mariota had a total of 116 rushing yards in his first four games of the season, but only a total of 108 rushing yards over his past eight games. Also, he’s only averaging 28 passing attempts over his previous four games.
Running Back
Jamaal Williams (GB): $7,300 at CAR
Although the return of Aaron Rodgers will provide the Packers more opportunities to score points, I believe that Jamaal Williams will see a slight regression in production. Rodgers is a gunslinger and the increased targets to Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson will like result in fewer touches for Williams.
Samaje Perine (WAS): $6,700 vs. ARI
When you take away the two defensive touchdowns by the Redskins over the past three games, the offense has only averaged 11 points per game. The offensive line has been banged up this season and it has turned into one of the worst units in the league. This has killed Samaje Perine’s production over the past four games. Since Week 11 when Perine took over as the Redskins lead back, Perine has seen his yards per carry decrease for three consecutive weeks.
Wide Receiver
Davante Adams (GB): $7,300 at CAR
Similar to Williams, I’m not saying that the return of Rodgers will really bring down Adams’ value, but he will likely see his numbers be more inconsistent. For that reason, I cannot recommend Adams for cash games at this price and I imagine the general lineup creator will not connect the dots and thus somewhat inflate Adams’ ownership percentage in GPPs after his huge game in Week 14 at Cleveland.
Robby Anderson (NYJ): $7,800 at NO
With two games on Saturday, Robby Anderson is the fourth-highest priced wide receiver on this slightly reduce-sized slate. I’m not sure when salaries were released for this week, but I imagine they came out prior to the new of Josh McCown‘s left hand being broken. Now the Jets will turn to Bryce Petty, which will likely reduce Anderson’s numbers for the rest of the year. On top of that, the Jets have an incredibly difficult matchup on the road against the Saints. Anderson will likely see a good dosage of rookie cornerback Marshon Lattimore, who has already established himself as a top-five CB in the entire league according to Pro Football Focus.
Tight End
Greg Olsen (CAR): $5,600 vs. GB
I’m going right back to the well and fading Greg Olsen, considering he was nearly the only person I had right with my Week 14 fades. Despite playing on 92% of the Panther’s offensive snaps in Week 14, Olsen only had one target and could not convert it into a reception. At one point he was seen hobbling off of the field, so he is obviously nowhere close to 100% right now. Overall the Packer’s defense is not that great, but they have actually been pretty stout against opposing tight ends, allowing the second-fewest FanDuel points to opposing tight ends.
