Monday night in the NBA brings us a solid nine-game slate. It could be a high-scoring night with four games coming in with a Vegas total over 220 points while all four have a line of seven points or fewer. There are some solid value options on the slate which should open up roster construction to fit in a high-priced stud and a few good mid-range values as well.
Note that some of the stats referenced in this article are my custom DvP calculations that combine both season and last five games data along with blending similar positions production allowed together.

Anthony Davis (PF/C – NO): $11,600 vs. SA
Davis appears to be on one of his roles where he just destroys whoever he faces. He has had back-to-back games with 40 points and has exceeded 58 DraftKings points in six straight outings. Davis will face a Spurs team that has been a neutral matchup for opposing big men this season but I’m not sure it matters who Davis faces right now. If you don’t want to pay the price for Davis then give Nikola Jokic strong consideration at over $2,000 less in a game against the Bucks.

Core Plays
Tobias Harris (SF/PF – LAC): $7,800 @ ATL
With the Clippers facing the Hawks, it feels like you need to plug in one of the Clippers frontcourt options between either Harris or Montrezl Harrell ($6,600). Both players have consistently produced at least five times their current salary over the last few games and they get a plus matchup on Monday against the Hawks who have given up top-six production in points, rebounds, assists and steals to opposing PFs this season and top five production in rebounds, assists, and steals to opposing centers.
Donovan Mitchell (PG/SG – UTH): $7,300 @ IND
Mitchell is starting to assert himself on offense over the last two games averaging 28 shots per night. This, as you would expect, led to increased points (29.5 per game) and overall fantasy production (46.6 DK points per game). Look for him to continue to force the action on the offensive end of the court in what should be a close game against the Pacers in Indiana. The Pacers have allowed a little bump to opposing SGs this year in points (+3.2%) and assists (+7.6%).
Eric Bledsoe (PG – MIL): $6,900 vs. DEN
Bledsoe has been a consistent force for the Bucks over the last five games averaging 18.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 2.2 steals per game. Bledsoe has exceeded 34 DK points in each of those efforts which put him right in line to meet or exceed five times his current salary. Steals could be the key to Bledsoe’s potential upside on Monday as he has at least two steals in four straight games and faces a Nuggets team that has given up the second most steal to opposing PGs this year.
TJ Warren (SF/PF – PHO): $6,400 @ PHI
Warren’s salary has finally adjusted to come close to representing his current level of production. This might be the last game that Warren will still be a little bit of a value with his $6,400 price tag on Monday night. He has exceeded five times that salary in each of his last five outings. Sneak in one last day of “value Warren” before the Black Friday sale ends.
Value Plays
Rudy Gay (SF/PF – SA): $5,300 @ NO
Gay has seen his minutes ramp back up to 30 in his last game which makes his current $5,300 salary a steal. He has exceeded 27 DK points in each of his last three games while playing fewer minutes but should get a full allotment of court time on Monday in a pace up spot against the Pelicans. The Pelicans have allowed increased production to opposing SFs in points (+5.0%), steals (+11.1%) and blocks (+5.1%) this season.
Juan Hernangomez (SF/PF – DEN): $4,800 @ MIL
Hernangomez has played at least 30 minutes in each of the last four games for the Nuggets. Over his last two games, he is averaging 22.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per night. He’ll continue to get big minutes against the Bucks on Monday in a pace up matchup for the Nuggets. He doesn’t need much to clear his low salary.
Tyreke Evans (SG/SF – IND): $4,100 vs. UTH
The use of Evans is dependent on the status of Victor Oladipo for Monday’s game against the Jazz. If Oladipo is out, then look for Evans to get a big boost in minutes and usage. He showed a glimpse of what he can do with extended minutes when he put up 23 points and 10 rebounds in 25 minutes against the Heat a couple of games back. Evans is starting to be more forceful on the offensive end with at least 12 shots in each of his last two games while that number should go up if Oladipo sits.
Kevin Huerter (SG – ATL): $3,300 vs. LAC
Huerter drew the start for the Hawks in their last game and played 29 minutes while Taurean Prince was out. Prince is doubtful to play on Monday against the Clippers which should allow Huerter to stick in the starting lineup and play around 30 minutes. His near minimum salary gives him a low bar to leap over to produce relevant fantasy value and has the skills to score double-digit points while stuffing the box score.
