After just six games on Tuesday, we’re looking at a full 10-game slate here. There are a ton of superstars available, and a cornucopia of value plays as well. Without further ado, let’s go ahead and break it down!

Most Value Per Dollar
Below is a list of the top-10 players of the day expected to generate the most value relative to their salary. These are ranked in order.
There hasn’t been much released in terms of betting because of all the injuries out there. That makes it tough for us to decipher right now, but it does look like we have a ton of close games. It’s not going to be as high-scoring as Tuesday’s slate, but there’s plenty of fantasy value to be had.
If you’d like to see more information on how the betting landscape will be for this slate, check out BettingPros.
Jimmy Butler (MIA) $8,400:
Butler is my favorite play of the day, and we’ll discuss that more in the studs section.
Josh Richardson (DAL) $4,500:
We’ve been waiting for Richardson to show signs of life all season long. He finally did it on Monday, collecting 24 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals across 36 minutes. That’s the guy we’ve been waiting for, and we love his game at this price.
Jayson Tatum (BOS) $8,900:
Tatum is also one of the best picks out there, and he’ll find his way into the studs section as well.
Darius Garland (CLE) $5,900:
Garland just had his minutes restriction lifted and re-entered the starting lineup. In this role before his injury, he averaged 34 DK points per game. A 19-point, 11-assist gem on Monday shows that he’s back to being the stud we remember.
Jeremy Lamb (IND) $5,700:
Lamb has at least 27 DraftKings points in three of his last four games, directly correlating with his reinsertion into the starting lineup. That’s fantastic news at this price against one of the fastest-paced teams in the NBA.
Victor Oladipo (HOU) $7,800:
Oladipo should be running things with John Wall sitting. That’s big news for a guy who’s averaging nearly 40 fantasy points per game.
DeMar DeRozan (SAS) $6,900:
DeRozan should never be below $7,000. Before his recent two-game dud, DeMar averaged 40 DK points per game across his first 17 fixtures.
Thaddeus Young (CHI) $5,900:
Young has been amazing recently, averaging 12.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 9.3 assists, and 1.0 steals over his last three games.
Jakob Poeltl (SAS) $4,600:
With LaMarcus Aldridge sitting this game out, Poeltl should start. In that role last season, he averaged nearly 30 fantasy points per game with an increase in minutes and usage.
Lonzo Ball (NOR) $5,700:
Ball has been playing better recently, scoring at least 26 DK points in six-straight games while averaging 34 fantasy points per game in that span.
Studs Worth Their Salary
- Luka Doncic (DAL) $10,800: Doncic is a triple-double machine right now. In fact, he’s averaging 28.1 points, 9.8 rebounds and 10.1 assists over his last 16 games played. That’s hard to fade on any slate, no matter the price.
- Joel Embiid (PHI) $10,000: Embiid has at least 39 DraftKings points in all but one game this season and should obliterate a Hornets defense that surrenders the third-most fantasy points to opposing centers. He’s been more ridiculous recently, averaging 55 DK points per game across his last five fixtures.
- Jayson Tatum (BOS) $8,900: With Kemba Walker likely sitting in the second half of a back-to-back set, Tatum should be looking at a lot more touches. That’s huge for a guy who’s scored at least 37 DK points in all but one game en route to a 43-point average. Not to mention, he faces the second-worst defense in the NBA.
- Jimmy Butler (MIA) $8,400: Washington plays at the fastest pace in the NBA while ranked dead-last in total defense. That’s a perfect recipe for Butler, scoring over 50 DK points in both of his games since returning from injury.
Notable Players to Fade
- Russell Westbrook (WAS) $9,200: Westbrook sits one end of a back-to-back set every time the Wizards have one. With him playing on Tuesday, it seems very unlikely he’ll play here.
- Kemba Walker (BOS) $6,500: Walker also sat in the only back-to-back Boston has had since returning. He hasn’t even cracked 30 minutes yet, and they’ll surely be cautious with him here.
- Coby White (CHI) $6,100: White has hit a bit of a wall, averaging just 23 DK points per game across his last seven outings. We hate that against a top-ranked Knicks defense.
- DeMarcus Cousins (HOU) $5,200: Cousins is playing about 15 minutes a night when Christian Wood is healthy. While he’s great in those minutes, we can’t trust such little playing time.
