Rankings are the backbone of your fantasy football draft preparation. Rather than use the rankings from a single person, we provide you with a consensus of over 100 fantasy football experts via our Expert Consensus Rankings.

Today, we’re taking a look at players our experts — Mike Tagliere, Kyle Yates, Dan Harris, and Joe Pisapia — are lower on versus our Expert Consensus Rankings. You can find the consensus of our four analysts here.

Antonio Gibson (WAS)
Our Experts RB13 | Expert Consensus Ranking RB11

I like Gibson, it’s not that I don’t. The issue is that he’s not heavily involved in the passing game, and he topped 94 yards on the ground just twice all of last season, with both of those games coming against the Cowboys. In fact, 28.7 percent of his fantasy points in 2020 were against the Cowboys. I can certainly see Gibson finishing higher than my ranking, but those above him have either (a) a more consistent track record, or (b) less question marks. He scored a touchdown once every 15.5 carries last year, a number that’s surely to go up.

Miles Sanders (PHI)
Our Experts RB22 | Expert Consensus Ranking RB19

Sanders is one of the most exciting RBs to watch in the entire NFL, but he’s been a headache for fantasy managers over the past couple of seasons. While he could be incredible for fantasy if he was given the workload that a CMC or Zeke got, the Eagles coaching staff has refused to lean on him and they’ve consistently rotated in multiple other options. With Nick Sirianni coming in as Head Coach, there was some optimism that things could be different this time around. However, the Eagles signed Kerryon Johnson in free agency and added Gainwell in the NFL Draft, therefore signaling that we should be expecting more of the same. With Hurts taking away some rushing volume, plus the presence of multiple other RBs in this backfield, there doesn’t appear to be much upside to selecting Sanders this upcoming season. He can be viewed as a low-end RB2 this year.

Kareem Hunt (CLE)
Our Experts RB25 | Expert Consensus Ranking RB23

Kareem Hunt’s season last year is really the tale of two halves. From Weeks 1-8, Hunt was the RB7 in all of fantasy football. However, Weeks 9-17, Hunt was the RB17 through that time frame. With Nick Chubb back in the lineup, Hunt was certainly still involved, but he did very little with his opportunity. He’s a bit of a mystery heading into 2021 and his ADP should reflect that. Fantasy managers might be skeptical on adding him to their rosters as anything more than a low-end RB2 or high-end RB3, but if you can get him for that price tag, that’s a worthy investment. Anything more than that and you might be disappointed with what you get.

Damien Harris (NE)
Our Experts RB30 | Expert Consensus Ranking RB28

What’s the best-case scenario for Harris? Didn’t we see it last year when Sony Michel went down with an injury? Not only is Michel healthy, but the Patriots also decided to draft Rhamondre Stevenson in the fourth round of this year’s draft, which just adds another body to the mix. I like Harris as a player, but as someone who topped 16 touches just twice last year with little competition and no role in the passing game, you should aim higher for your RB2/3 option.
– Mike Tagliere

Raheem Mostert (SF)
Our Experts RB33 | Expert Consensus Ranking RB29

Mostert is expected to be the lead back in this offense as long as he’s healthy, but that’s not exactly a guarantee. Mostert’s only played a total of 31 games over the past three seasons and the 49ers know that they can’t rely on him to start all 16 games. With the drafting of Sermon, the 49ers are signaling that Mostert’s best fantasy days are behind him. To start the season, Mostert could produce some solid numbers for your lineup, but it seems inevitable that he’s going to give up the starting job to the rookie RB eventually. If you do end up drafting Mostert, it’s probably best to double back and snag Sermon to handcuff this backfield.
