Wednesday’s card was awesome! We had 11 games in total, and almost all of our value plays hit, with the Dallas-Phoenix matchup coming in big time as the late-night hammer! In any case, it has us ready to keep rolling here.
After an 11-game ledger on Wednesday, we’re down to six games here. That’s the perfect amount for DFS, though, creating a perfect-sized player pool. What’s frustrating is that we have numerous teams playing a back-to-back. Many of those teams have ruled players out for Wednesday’s game, and that makes it tough on us because you never know what will happen over the next 24 hours. It’s difficult to determine whether they were just being rested or are legitimately injured, and it will take some guessing on our part. With that in mind, let’s get into it!

Injury Report
Core Plays
Nikola Jokic (C – DEN): $12,000 DraftKings, $11,600 FanDuel
Jokic is the highest-priced player out there, and he’s earned every bit of it. The 2021 MVP led the league with nearly 60 DraftKings points per game last season and is matching that with a 58-point average this year. That makes him an easy choice, scoring at least 50 DK points in eight straight games. Not having to play Joel Embiid is a nice boost, too, with Andre Drummond being one of the worst defensive centers around.
Dejounte Murray (PG – SAS): $9,800 DraftKings, $9,900 FanDuel
It’s crazy that Murray hasn’t cracked the five-figure mark yet. The Spurs guard is averaging 18.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, 8.1 assists, and 2.1 steals per game. Those near triple-double averages have earned him a 50-point average, an absurd number from a player sitting below $10K. Not to mention, he’s scored 60-plus in back-to-back outings and gets to face a 24th-ranked T’Wolves defense here.
Darius Garland (PG – CLE): $6,800 DraftKings, $6,000 FanDuel
The Cavaliers are extremely shorthanded right now, missing Collin Sexton. Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, and Lauri Markkanen. That has left Garland to feast recently, scoring at least 37 DraftKings points in three of his last four games. That’s no surprise with the bump in usage, but it is shocking that he remains below $7K on both sites.
Cash Game Considerations
Paul George (SF – LAC): $11,000 DraftKings, $10,100 FanDuel
PG13 is one of the frontrunners for MVP right now, averaging 27 points, 8.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 2.2 steals per game. Those astounding averages have led to PG providing 50 DK points per game, dropping at least 34 fantasy points in all 12 games played. That’s terrible news for a 29th-ranked Grizzlies defense, especially since they surrender the most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing small forwards.
Tobias Harris (PF – PHI): $8,800 DraftKings, $7,500 FanDuel
Toby is always a great pivot when Embiid is out of the lineup. He posted a 34 percent usage rate with Joel off the floor last year while averaging 1.3 DK points per minute. That led to a 41-point average in the 18 games Embiid missed, which is no surprise when you see Toby’s 39-point average this year.
Rudy Gobert (C – UTA): $8,000 DraftKings, $8,500 FanDuel
Gobert is in my cash game section pretty much every night, and it’s easy to understand why. This dude is an automatic double-double, averaging 14.9 points, 15.4 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game. That has led to a career-best 42 DK points per game, with Rudy scoring at least 34 DK points in all but one game this season. We couldn’t ask for anything more from a cash game option, particularly with Toronto owning a 20th OPRK against opposing centers.
GPP Targets
Daniel Gafford (C – WAS): $4,500 DraftKings, $5,000 FanDuel
Gafford’s volatility has turned him into a GPP target, but his recent form is intriguing. The big man has scored at least 23 DK points in four of his last six games, seeing his minutes bump in each of those. That’s all you can ask for from a guy sitting around $5,000, and he could be asked to do more if Washington sits some guys in the second half of a B2B set.
Ed Davis (C – CLE): $3,600 DraftKings, $3,500 FanDuel
We already talked about Cleveland missing Markkanen, Allen, and Mobley, leaving Davis as the only true center on the roster. That earned him a start on Wednesday, scooping up 11 rebounds across 23 minutes in a standard Davis line. He’s one of the best rebounders around, and he should grab double-digits as long as he plays the 20-30 minutes we expect. We also don’t mind that this is the second half of a back-to-back set, which will likely force Love to the bench as well.
Dewayne Dedmon (C – MIA): $4,100 DraftKings, $3,700 FanDuel
Dedmon is in the same boat as Davis. He’s expected to start for Bam Adebayo here, making him one of the best values on the board. This dude has been a fantasy-point-per-minute producer throughout his career, scoring 25 DK points across 29 minutes in his first start on Monday. He played 25 minutes on Wednesday as well and should be a lock for 25-30 minutes if Bam is out again. The matchup is majestic, too, with the Wizards surrendering the second-most fantasy points to opposing centers this season.
Value Plays
Derrick White (PG/SG – SAS): $5,300 DraftKings, $5,300 FanDuel
A shooting slump has dropped White’s price $1,000 over recent weeks, but this dude is too talented to be this cheap. He showed that on Sunday and Tuesday, scoring 25-plus in both of those. That got his season average north of 27 DK points per game, which is a brilliant total from someone in this price range. We certainly don’t mind that he faces a terrible Timberwolve defense, either.
Monte Morris (PG – DEN): $4,700 DraftKings, $5,100 FanDuel
With Jamal Murray out for the Nuggets, Monte has been starting at point guard in Denver. While he’s had mixed results, scoring 35 DK points in back-to-back games is a good indicator of how special this guy can be. That equates to 8X value on DK, and he could be asked to do even more here with Barton and Porter out as well.
Drew Eubanks (C – SAS): $4,600 DraftKings, $5,500 FanDuel
San Antonio lacks size with Poeltl out of the picture, but Eubanks has done an excellent job filling in at center. He’s scored at least 19 DK points in six of his seven starts, scoring 23-plus in five of those. What we like here is that he has to play big minutes because he’s the only body mature enough to man up with Karl-Anthony Towns. That’s fantastic on both ends, with Minnesota owning a 28th OPRK against opposing centers this season.
