Miles Sanders practicing in pads Monday

Carolina Panthers RB Miles Sanders is practicing Monday in full pads.

Fantasy Impact

Sanders has not practiced since August 10 due to a groin injury. While the 26-year-old will likely still sit out the team’s preseason finale against Detroit, Sanders appears to be heading in the right direction. Sanders currently ranks as the RB18 in half PPR ECR.

Isiah Pacheco returns to practice, cleared for contact

Kansas City Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco returned to practice Monday and has been cleared for contact.

Fantasy Impact

Pacheco had spent the majority of training camp in a non-contact jersey as he continued to recover from a shoulder injury. Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid stated that Pacheco has a chance to play against the Browns Saturday. The 24-year-old appears to be on track to be ready for Week 1.

De’Von Achane (shoulder) considered week-to-week

De’Von Achane reportedly avoided anything severe and is considered week-to-week, according to head coach Mike McDaniel.

Fantasy Impact

It is still a tough break for the rookie who was already seeming to be a bit down the depth chart early on based on usage in the preseason. It sounds like his status for Week 1 could be up in the air. The Dolphins were reportedly in on signing Dalvin Cook before he landed with the Jets. It is expected to be Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr. leading the backfield to open the season.
