News & Notes
Robert Suarez continues to lead the MLB with eight saves.
Tanner Scott has jumped into a tie for second with three saves in the past week. Andres Munoz is also tied for second with seven saves in seven chances.
Felix Bautista recorded his first save of the season last Saturday. He has made just one appearance since, as the Orioles continue to use him sparingly early in the season.
The Reds activated Alexis Diaz from the injured list earlier this week. He has tossed 1.2 scoreless innings over two appearances. He isn’t jumping back into the closer role right away, but Emilio Pagan did blow his last save chance, which is something to monitor.
