Finding good streaming pitchers can be a weekly struggle. I aim to solve this headache during this season by finding the best pitchers, every week, who are on the waiver wire in most leagues. I will use the FantasyPros’ fantasy baseball streaming pitchers tool to find league roster percentage information.

First, let’s take a look at last week’s picks:
- Ben Brown (@STL): 5.0 Innings, 3 Strikeouts, 8 Earned Runs, 9 Hits, 2 Walks (Loss)
- Ryan Bergert (vs. WSH): 3.0 Innings, 4 Strikeouts, 3 Earned Runs, 5 Hits, 3 Walks (No Decision, pulled early because of forearm injury)
- Cade Horton (@HOU): 4.0 Innings, 2 Strikeouts, 7 Earned Runs, 8 Hits, 4 Walks (Loss)
- Clayton Kershaw (vs. COL): 6.0 Innings, 5 Strikeouts, 1 Earned Run, 2 Hits, 1 Walk (Win)
- Jake Irvin (@LAA): 4.1 Innings, 5 Strikeouts, 8 Earned Runs, 9 Hits, 4 Walks (Loss)
Total: 22.1 Innings, 19 Strikeouts, 27 Earned Runs, 33 Hits, 14 Walks (1-3)
This week was a reminder to be prepared for the worst-case scenario. No matter how good a matchup looks, things can go wrong. I am very sorry if any of these streamers cost you your matchups last week. Let’s rebound this upcoming week.
Without further delay, below are my picks for pitchers to stream during Week 15, from Monday, June 30th to Sunday, July 6th.
Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers
Monday, June 30th
Trevor Rogers (SP – BAL) @TEX | 3% Rostered
After posting a 7.11 ERA with the Orioles after being traded from the Marlins at the last trade deadline, Trevor Rogers is finally making a positive impact on his new team. He has allowed just three runs across as many starts this season, totaling 16.2 innings. He has struck out 13.
Rogers looks like a new pitcher out there. He is throwing the ball much faster, touching 96 miles per hour (MPH) on his fastball compared to 92 MPH in 2024. The new mechanics were on full display against the Rangers on June 23, where Rogers fired eight shutout innings. Stream Rogers for his rematch in Texas this week.
Alternative: Ryne Nelson (SP – ARI) vs. SF | 9% Rostered
Tuesday, July 1st
Colton Gordon (SP – HOU) @COL | 2% Rostered
Colton Gordon is a decent starter facing the 18-64 Rockies. What more could you ask for? I mean, there is a lot more you could ask for, but Tuesday is thin for streaming options. Gordon is the very definition of a high-floor, low-ceiling starter.
Many of Gordon’s outings this year look identical — his stat sheet is filled with five-inning starts with two or three runs allowed. The 26-year-old rookie, who has a 3.98 ERA and 1.30 WHIP, is a decent option against the struggling Rockies.
Alternative: Charlie Morton (SP – BAL) @TEX | 8% Rostered
Wednesday, July 2nd
Nick Martinez (SP – CIN) @BOS | 23% Rostered
The veteran Nick Martinez is coming off the best start of his season, where he threw eight innings of one-run baseball, striking out six Padres.
Martinez is set to follow up this performance by heading to Boston. The righty is in luck, as the Red Sox are batting just .200 against right-handed pitching in June. Ride Martinez’s momentum into Boston.
Alternative: Landen Roupp (SP – SF) @ARI | 16% Rostered
Thursday, July 3rd
Dustin May (SP – LAD) vs. CWS | 24% Rostered
Dustin May has had a very disappointing season. If May played for any team besides the Dodgers and had less run support, May would be even more disappointing.
However, May does pitch for the Dodgers, and he does get plenty of run support. Target May as a win and quality start option against the White Sox, who have an MLB-worst team OPS of .636.
Alternative: Jose Soriano (SP – LAA) @ATL | 29% Rostered
Friday, July 4th
Eduardo Rodriguez (SP – ARI) vs. KC | 10% Rostered
Eduardo Rodriguez is in the midst of a hot stretch. The 32-year-old has been excellent in his last four starts, allowing five runs over 22 innings and striking out 22.
Let’s hope Rodriguez celebrates the Fourth of July by dominating the Royals, who have a .665 team OPS, the fourth-worst in baseball.
Alternative: Adrian Houser (SP – CWS) @COL | 10% Rostered
Saturday, July 5th
Ryne Nelson (SP -ARI) vs. KC | 10% Rostered
Speaking of Diamondbacks pitchers on hot streaks, Ryne Nelson has been electric since gaining his footing as a starter. He has allowed just two runs across his last three starts, striking out 14 in 15.2 innings.
Nelson has rightfully earned a spot in the rotation now that Corbin Burnes is out for the foreseeable future. He should be a good streaming option against the Royals, who only have 57 home runs this season.
Alternative: Stephen Kolek (SP – SD) vs. TEX | 7% Rostered
Sunday, July 6th
Jacob Lopez (SP – ATH) vs. SF | 7% Rostered
Jacob Lopez has been quietly dominating lately. He has pitched three consecutive quality starts and has allowed just one run in his last 23 innings (four outings).
Lopez has struck out 29 batters in those 23 innings. Time will tell if the 27-year-old is having a legitimate breakout season. Regardless, it is worth streaming Lopez against the Giants to find out.
Alternative: Gavin Williams (SP – CLE) vs. DET | 18% Rostered
