Finding good streaming pitchers can be a weekly struggle. I aim to solve this headache during this season by finding the best pitchers, every week, who are on the waiver wire in most leagues. I will use the FantasyPros’ fantasy baseball streaming pitchers tool to find league roster percentage information.

First, let’s take a look at last week’s picks:
- Clarke Schmidt (vs. LAA): 7.2 Innings, 3 Strikeouts, 0 Earned Runs, 4 Hits, 0 Walks (No Decision)
- Will Warren (vs. LAA): 6.0 Innings, 11 Strikeouts, 3 Earned Runs, 6 Hits, 0 Walks (Loss)
- Jack Leiter (vs. KC): 5.2 Innings, 4 Strikeouts, 6 Earned Runs, 8 Hits, 2 Walks (Loss)
Total: 19.1 Innings, 18 Strikeouts, 9 Earned Runs, 18 Hits, 2 Walks (0-2)
Absolute gems from Clarke Schmidt and Will Warren make last week good, so far. Unfortunately, a disappointing Jack Leiter outing tarnishes the excellence Schmidt and Warren were building towards. This article is being written a day earlier than usual, so keep an eye out for upcoming starts we picked last week, such as Cade Horton against Milwaukee and Clayton Kershaw against Washington.
Without further delay, below are my picks for pitchers to stream during Week 14, from Monday, June 23rd to Sunday, June 29th.
Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers
Monday, June 23rd
Ben Brown (SP – CHC) @STL | 10% Rostered
Ben Brown is the classic strikeout option. As a streamer, Brown is not going to preserve ERA and WHIP ratios. The Cub has a rough 5.57 ERA and 1.48 WHIP.
However, Brown has an impressive 10.7 K/9 ratio. Brown against the Cardinals is only worth a glance in leagues where strikeouts are heavily rewarded.
Alternative: Eduardo Rodriguez (SP – ARI) @CWS | 4% Rostered
Tuesday, June 24th
Ryan Bergert (SP – SD) vs. WSH | 2% Rostered
Ryan Bergert is a 25-year-old Padres prospect who has found great success in three starts this season. In 15.1 innings, Berget has allowed five runs and struck out 14.
Bergert has a 2.33 ERA and 0.98 WHIP. However, Berget has a noteworthy 3.99 xERA. It is worth seeing if Berget can continue his luck against the Nationals.
Alternative: Ryne Nelson (SP – ARI) @CWS | 1% Rostered
Wednesday, June 25th
Cade Horton (SP – CHC) @STL | 10% Rostered
Cade Horton is an exciting rookie who seems to be settling into the Majors. He is coming off a great start where he held the Pirates to 5.2 scoreless innings in 76 pitches.
Horton was pulled from the game just an out away from the quality start in a frustrating manner. Regardless, Horton flashed brilliant potential and should build off this momentum against the Cardinals.
Alternative: Hunter Dobbins (SP – BOS) @LAA | 3% Rostered
Thursday, June 26th
Clayton Kershaw (SP – LAD) @COL | 23% Rostered
It is time to grab Clayton Kershaw off the waiver wire. The MLB legend has shaken off the rust and is back to being, well, Clayton Kershaw.
The 37-year-old has left his best days behind him, but showed he is still capable of greatness after he shut out the Giants for seven innings, striking out five. It seems like a no-brainer to stream Kershaw against the Rockies, the worst team in baseball.
Alternative: Emerson Hancock (SP – SEA) @MIN | 3% Rostered
Friday, June 27th
Jake Irvin (SP – WSH) @LAA | 18% Rostered
Jake Irvin has an ERA+ of 94, marking him as a slightly below-average starter. Nothing about him is particularly glamorous. So, why is he a good streamer?
In short, the Angels are bad. Many pitchers who pitch against the Angels this season appear way better than they are. Expect Irvin also to have above-average strikeout numbers, as the Angels have the second-most batter strikeouts.
Alternative: Jose Quintana (SP – MIL) vs. COL | 10% Rostered
Saturday, June 28th
Patrick Corbin (SP – TEX) vs. SEA | 7% Rostered
Patrick Corbin is this week’s high-floor, low-ceiling starter. Corbin does not have a simple matchup against the 37-36 Mariners, but he should be fine. All season, Corbin has done just OK.
The most runs Corbin has allowed in 13 outings (71.1 innings) this season was four. Four runs as a worst outing is not bad, but the veteran has yet to shut out a team this season. You should consider starting Corbin if you are risk-averse.
Alternative: Stephen Kolek (SP – SD) @CIN | 6% Rostered
Sunday, June 29th
Charlie Morton (SP – BAL) vs. TB | 6% Rostered
Somehow, Charlie Morton is turning his ugly season around. He has a 6.05 ERA on the season, yet he has pitched to a 2.70 ERA with 27 strikeouts across his last 20 innings since May 22nd.
The 41-year-old Morton seems to have discovered a resurgence, particularly with his curveball. Trust Morton and his momentum against the Rays, his former team.
Alternative: Tyler Anderson (SP – LAA) vs. WSH | 8% Rostered
