May was hopefully a profitable month for you thanks to our DFS picks. Let’s get off to a good start in June. On DraftKings, we will be looking at their main slate, which begins at 11:05 a.m. ET and includes 11 games.
There isn’t an exact match to that slate on FanDuel. You can play their all day slate, which consists of some of the same games but also has additional games to choose from.

- There are some pricey options, such as Hunter Brown, Garrett Crochet or Jacob deGrom, if you have the money. I’m looking to spend just a little bit less with Clay Holmes. He has been excellent at run prevention all season, giving up three or more earned runs in just two of his 11 starts. The strikeouts have fluctuated, but today’s opponent is the Colorado Rockies and their 27% strikeout rate.
- Ryan Weathers has provided over 21 fantasy points in two out of three starts this season. He reached 94 pitches in his last start, so if he can be a bit more efficient, perhaps we can get his deepest start yet. The Giants are not thought of as an easy matchup, but they are a bottom-10 offense by wRC+ and are in the bottom 10 in strikeout rate (22.9%).
- Adrian Houser was only signed earlier this month by the Chicago White Sox. It’s only been two starts, but he has delivered early. He’s come out throwing harder than we’ve ever seen before, and the results are coming along with it. Through 12 innings, he is yet to allow an earned run, but it only comes with eight strikeouts. Today, he takes on an erratic Baltimore offense.

- The Philadelphia Phillies have a fairly left-handed lineup, but they still have a .751 OPS against left-handed pitchers this season. That’s the seventh-best mark in baseball. Today, they get a returning Jose Quintana. While he had a 2.65 ERA when we went on the injured list (IL), the ERA indicators were nearly two runs higher.
- The Phillies bat you want to build your stack around is Kyle Schwarber. You would think that the lefty-on-lefty matchup would be difficult for him, but he has always been decent against left-handed pitchers. This season, he hasn’t been just decent. He is crushing left-handed pitching — 10 home runs in only 76 at-bats. That has led to a 1.155 OPS against lefties.
- Trea Turner is coming off a May where he batted .319 with four home runs and eight stolen bases. He also has a .917 OPS against left-handed pitchers this season.
- If you want a bit of a cheaper option, consider Alec Bohm. He hit his fifth home run of the season yesterday and has a 45.8% hard hit rate against left-handed pitchers this season.
- Finally, check to see if Bryce Harper is in today’s lineup. He has five home runs against left-handed pitching this season, but has missed the last four games with an elbow bruise.

- The Toronto Blue Jays are sixth in baseball in wRC+ against left-handed pitchers this season. Today’s opposing starting pitcher is left-hander JP Sears. Over his last three starts, Sears has allowed 19 earned runs over 12.1 innings. He has given up eight home runs in those three starts.
- Only the Dodgers had a higher wRC+ in May than the Blue Jays (they were tied with the Yankees). If possible, find the money to start your lineup with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. He has a 1.022 OPS against left-handed pitchers this season. He may also be finding his power stroke as he has two home runs in the past week.
- George Springer has had a bit of a career resurgence in 2025. A big reason has been his dominance against left-handed pitchers. He has four home runs against left-handed pitchers in only 35 at-bats. It has helped him to log a 1.033 OPS against left-handed pitching.
- Two cheaper options in the Blue Jays lineup are Ernie Clement and Addison Barger. Clement has also been a lefty crusher this season. Ten of his 12 extra-base hits this season have been against left-handed pitching, including all three home runs. Barger still has a sublime Statcast page, including a 99th percentile average exit velocity and a 98th percentile hard-hit rate. He has hit four home runs in the past 28 days with a .310 batting average. He also hit home runs in each of the past two days.

Core Studs
- William Contreras hasn’t had the start to the season that was expected of him, with only a .253 average. That’s even after six hits in the first two games of this Phillies series. He has three career home runs off Ranger Suarez in only 19 at-bats.
- I continue to believe the cost has yet to catch up with the production of Rafael Devers. He is coming off a May where he had seven home runs, 33 RBI and batted .356.
- Spencer Torkelson has a tough matchup against left-hander Kris Bubic today. Torkelson has been good all season, but he has been even better against left-handed pitchers. He has a 1.082 OPS against left-handed pitchers this season.
Value Plays/Punts
- Junior Caminero is another player whose value hasn’t caught up to his recent production. Over the last eight games, he has 11 extra-base hits, including five home runs. Yesterday was one of the biggest games you’ll see from a batter with 48 fantasy points.
- Carlos Santana was a recommendation yesterday, and I’m going back to the well today. Santana is in the midst of a 10-game hitting streak and delivered a home run yesterday.
- Brandon Nimmo’s price is the cheapest it has been all season at $3,500. Since sitting out two games with neck soreness, Nimmo has gone 8-for-19 with a home run yesterday. He faces Carson Palmquist today, who has an 8.78 ERA.

Sunday’s Top 3 Underdog Player Props
It seems the production of Juan Soto may finally be catching up to the underlying data. As poorly as Soto’s first season as a Met has gone with the surface stats, he is still in the top fifth percentile in expected slugging, average exit velocity and hard-hit rate. He’s hit this mark in both of the first two games against the Rockies this series.
Earlier in the season, I wouldn’t have considered this line with Garrett Crochet. However, he has cleared this mark in his last four starts, including one against the Atlanta Braves. He gets the Braves again today, but now with Ronald Acuna Jr. in the lineup. Since getting Acuna back, the Braves are averaging 8.6 hits per game
The Yankees have a 125 wRC+ against right-handed pitchers this season. It’s not without strikeouts, though. They have struck out 22.6% of the time against right-handed pitchers, eighth-most in the league. Yoshinobu Yamamoto is sixth in baseball with a strikeout rate of 30.5%.
