Fantasy Baseball Prospect Report: Rankings, Updates & Stashes

Hey, friends. Welcome to my weekly fantasy baseball prospect report. The goal of this column is to give you the most fantasy-relevant prospect information throughout the last week, all in one place.

The format of this weekly prospect report will be by level, and we will go through players in order of their placement in my preseason prospect rankings. The next prospect rankings update will be in mid-to-late August.

Fantasy Baseball Prospect Report

I won’t hit on every prospect every week, but will focus on the most relevant prospects throughout the week and will follow up with other notable players. This article will not focus on any AAAA-type players or veterans in the Minors who have outlived their prospect status.

NOTE: Rookie status is determined by 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched at the Major League level. All stats are up-to-date as of Sunday, June 29th.

MLB Hitters

63. Christian Moore (2B – LAA)

  • 2024 College: .375/.451/.797 | 55 XBH, 34 HR, 5 SB
  • 2024 A/AA: .347/.400/.584 | 8.2 BB%, 26.4 K% | 12 XBH, 6 HR, 2 SB (25 games)
  • 2025 AA/AAA (as of 6/29/25): .196/.269/.435 | 7.5 BB%, 35.8 K% | 4 XBH, 3 HR, 0 SB
  • This Week: 5/25 | 2 XBH, 2 HR, 0 SB
  • Age: 22
  • ETA: Late 2025
  • fScores: 95 fContact, 78 fDiscipline, 96 fPower, 109 fSpeed
  • Comp: Connor Norby profile with some Alex Bregman mechanics
  • Prime Skills: Christian Moore is a big second baseman with a sweet righty swing through the zone with some easy power for a middle infielder. He has killer middle infield power with a great field of hit and very good place skills. He has some strikeout issues and the hit tool is below average (68.2% contact rate), but the power should play up at second base even with lower-than-expected exit velocities this season (87.4 average exit velocity, 108.7 max exit velocity).
  • Player Notes: Moore finally did something in the Majors, hitting a couple of homers this week. He will strike out a lot, but provide above-average power from the second base position.

MLB Pitchers

6. Chase Burns (SP – CIN)

  • 2024 College: 100 IP | 191 Ks, 30 BBs | 2.70 ERA, 0.92 WHIP
  • 2025 A+/AA/AAA (as of 6/29/25): 66 IP | 31.4 K-BB%, 17.7 SwStr%, 35.2% CSW | 1.77 ERA, 0.77 WHIP
  • This Week: 5 IP | 8 Ks, 0 BBs | 5.40 ERA, 1.20 WHIP
  • Age: 21
  • ETA: Late 2025
  • fScores: 120 fStuff, 109 fControl, 134 fERA
  • Comp: Hunter Greene/Dylan Cease mash-up
  • Prime Skills: Chase Burns’ insane fastball/slider combo could be one of the best in baseball. He’s bigger than some of the other guys with this type of fastball/slider combo, like Jared Jones and Spencer Strider. He could also just be a better version of Jones. The fastball ranges from 98-102 miles per hour (MPH) with a ton of ride running an over 19 inverted movement (IVB), while his slider runs 87-89 as the primary swing-and-miss pitch. His curveball is also a plus-pitch.
  • Player Notes: Burns was dominant through his first few innings against a tough Yankees lineup. While he was caught by a Ben Rice homer, he had a great first start of his career.

34. Jacob Misiorowski (SP – MIL)

  • 2024 AA: 97 1/3 IP | 16.1 K-BB%, 14.1 SwStr%, 30.7 CSW% | 3.33 ERA, 1.20 WHIP
  • 2025 AAA: 63 1/3 IP | 19.4 K-BB%, 14.7 SwStr%, 30.2 CSW% | 2.13 ERA, 1.09 WHIP
  • 2025 MLB (as of 6/29/25): 16 IP | 21.4 K-BB%, 13.3 SwStr%, 28.6 CSW% | 1.13 ERA, 0.63 WHIP
  • This Week: 5 IP | 8 Ks, 2 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.80 WHIP
  • Age: 23
  • Comp: Young Tyler Glasnow with worse control
  • ETA: Early 2025
  • fScores (pre-season): 108 fStuff, 88 fControl, 135 fERA (as a starter)
  • Prime Skills: Jacob Misiorowski has a killer fastball that has reached 103 miles per hour (MPH), and it’s at an odd arm angle (15.5% SwStr% on it in 2025), so it’s difficult to pick up with an elite slider in his pocket as well. He’s had some control issues, especially as a starter, but has seemed to have improved starting in the second half of last year. He has had marked improvement this season, just as many were about to give up on him as a starter.
  • Player Notes: Misiorowski keeps it up with another dominant start in the Majors. Hitters just have a lot of trouble squaring up his stuff considering the velocity, arm angle and the extension.

AAA Hitters

100. Jhostynxon Garcia (OF – BOS)

  • 2024 A/A+/AA: .286/.356/.536 | 7.2 BB% / 21.6 K% | 52 XBH, 23 HR, 17 SB
  • 2025 MILB: .280/.364/.494 | 11.8 BB%, 23.2 K% | 25 XBH, 12 HR, 4 SB
  • This Week: 7/24 | 4 XBH, 3 HR, 0 SB
  • Age: 22
  • ETA: Early 2026
  • fScores: 99 fContact, 74 fDiscipline, 104 fPower, 105 fSpeed
  • Comp: Manny Ramirez mechanics with a Spencer Steer profile
  • Prime Skills: Already nicknamed The Password, Jhostynxon Garcia is a better version of Isaac Paredes as a hitter, rocking an over 46% fly ball rate and 46% pull rate, equaling a near 30% HR/FB rate last season. He has an odd, subpar contact profile with a 78.5% contact rate and a 77.8% Z-contact%, so his contact rate is higher on pitches outside of the zone. Very strange. Garcia hits the ball hard consistently with a 90.6 average exit velocity, but a 109.2 max exit velocity caps his homer potential in the low 20s.
  • Player Notes: Garcia has only played in the outfield, which is crowded in Boston. Maybe he should get some reps at first base with Kristian Campbell.

Colson Montgomery (SS – CWS)

  • Season: .212/.290/.396 | 8.1 BB% / 33.5 K% | 21 XBH, 9 HR, 4 SB
  • This Week: 9/18 | 5 XBH, 2 HR, 0 SB
  • Age: 22
  • ETA: Late 2025
  • Comp: Lefty Carlos Correa
  • Prime Skills: Colston Montgomery has fantastic plate discipline, which, by now, you know I love as a projecting skill toward future fantasy baseball stardom. He should grow into significantly more power as he builds muscle onto his 6-foot-4 frame. Even though he’s not slow, I doubt we’ll see many steals from him in the future.
  • Notes: Montgomery has been pretty bad for a couple of years now, but he is getting hot. That may be all it takes for him to get the call to the Majors.

Nathan Church (OF – STL)

  • Season: .340/.398/.574 | 8.7 BB% / 9.1 K% | 25 XBH, 10 HR, 11 SB
  • This Week: 6/21 | 5 XBH, 2 HR, 0 SB
  • Notes: Nathan Church has been on my radar for a while, but he had a pretty strong spring and has a ridiculous 91.1% contact% and 97% Z-contact% at AAA this season with slightly above average exit velocities. An elite hit tool with 50 grade power and 50/55 grade speed will play at the Major League level. This is his second consecutive week on this list.

Jakob Marsee (OF – MIA)

  • Season: .241/.373/.422 | 15.2 BB% / 19.9 K% | 24 XBH, 10 HR, 39 SB
  • This Week: 9/26 | 5 XBH, 3 HR, 0 SB
  • Notes: Jakob Marsee is going on two years of terrible batting average on balls in play (BABIP) issues, mostly due to not hitting the ball hard enough. He has solid contact skills with a plus-plate approach and plus-speed. The hard-hit data, though, is below average and has not allowed him to maximize the rest of his skillset. Marsee has now had two consecutive weeks with three home runs – the power is coming.

Brice Matthews (SS – HOU)

  • Season: .284/.401/.494 | 15.6 BB% / 28.9 K% | 26 XBH, 10 HR, 22 SB
  • This Week: 6/20 | 4 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
  • Notes: Brice Matthews was in my top 150 in the preseason, but I knocked him out due to the strikeouts and lack of doubles power on the season. He is getting closer to a call-up, making my list two of the last three weeks.

AAA Pitchers

Cam Schlittler (SP – NYY)

  • 2025 Season: 74 1/3 IP | 24.5 K-BB%, 14.3 SwStr%, 31.5 CSW% | 2.18 ERA, 1.14 WHIP
  • This Week: 6 IP | 9 Ks, 1 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.50 WHIP
  • Notes: Cam Schlittler has made my weekly list multiple times now this season, which shows how consistent he has been. He may be due for a call-up to the bigs by the end of the year.

Troy Melton (SP – DET)

  • 2025 Season: 55 IP | 23.2 K-BB%, 14.7 SwStr%, 31.1 CSW% | 3.93 ERA, 1.40 WHIP
  • This Week: 5 1/3 IP | 10 Ks, 1 BBs | 1.69 ERA, 1.31 WHIP
  • Notes: Troy Melton has been incredibly unlucky this season, running a .386 BABIP, including a .447 BABIP at AAA. But this was his first big start in AAA. While the Tigers are loaded at starting pitching, he could be the best of the next up.

AA Hitters

7. Walker Jenkins (OF – MIN)

  • 2024 A/A+: .282/.394/.439 | 15.2 BB%, 12.8 K% | 32 XBH, 6 HR, 17 SB (82 games)
  • 2025: .273/.429/.394 | 19 BB%, 21.4 K% | 4 XBH, 2 HR, 7 SB (20 games)
  • This Week: 7/18 | 3 XBH, 1 HR, 1 SB
  • Age: 20
  • ETA: Mid 2026
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: Larry Walker
  • Prime Skills: Walker Jenkins is a big, strong lefty for his age and one of the top five pitchers from the 2023 draft class. He has a ton of pull power, but can hit for extra-base hits through all fields. Jenkins’ carrying tool thus far has been the combo of his excellent hit tool (91.7% Z-Contact rate) alongside his killer plate skills (more walks than strikeouts). He hasn’t grown into the game power yet and has been primarily a doubles hitter. He was also in the Florida Complex League for a good portion of the season, where all his games are at sea level in the muggy Fort Myers stadium – no breeze; the hottest stadium I’ve been to in my life, and when there is breeze, it’s blowing in, not out.
  • Player Notes: Jenkins missed the first couple of months of the season, so a lot of people have kind of moved on from him, but he’s starting to get into the flow of things now.

20. Lazaro Montes (OF – SEA)

  • 2024 A/A+: .288/.397/.484 | 14.4 BB%, 23.6 K% | 44 XBH, 21 HR, 5 SB
  • 2025 A+ (as of 6/28/25): .264/.388/.584 | 16.6 BB%, 27 K% | 39 XBH, 21 HR, 3 SB
  • This Week: 6/2 | 5 XBH, 4 HR, 0 SB
  • Age: 20
  • ETA: Late 2026
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: Shades of a lefty Paul Goldschmidt in the outfield
  • Prime Skills: Lazaro Montes is a big, strong kid with a great hit tool. Montes has some insane lefty power and good plate skills. He’s also really improved his body from 2023 to 2024, which has likely helped him cut down the strikeout rate, while also shrinking the gap between BABIP and his batting average. The power is up this year from last year as he has figured out High-A and is likely ready for the next step.
  • Player Notes: Montes was called up to AA this week and has three bombs in five games.

93. Colton Ledbetter (OF – TB)

  • 2024 A+: .273/.339/.484 | 8.1 BB% / 28.3 K%| 45 XBH, 16 HR, 34 SB
  • 2025 AA (as of 6/28/25): .280/.358/.415 | 10.3 BB% / 26.2 K%| 19 XBH, 5 HR, 22 SB
  • This Week: 11/20 | 4 XBH, 1 HR, 1 SB
  • Age: 23
  • ETA: Mid 2026
  • fScores: N/A (need AAA statcast data)
  • Comp: Garrett Mitchell
  • Prime Skills: Colton Ledbetter was the Rays’ second-round pick in 2023 and has had a good year all around. He’s a great athlete known for good defense. While there has been a bit too much swing and miss, the ability to do damage is there. There are great tools in this package with some contact (69% contact rate) and plate skills questions, but he doesn’t have any split concerns, as he actually has performed better against lefties than righties.
  • Player Notes: Ledbetter has continued to produce, but more on a hit and stolen base rate (athletically) than on an extra-base hit and damage perspective.

Kyle Karros (3B – COL)

  • Season: .333/.438/.512 | 14.4 BB% / 17.9 K% | 20 XBH, 4 HR, 5 SB
  • This Week: 8/21 | 5 XBH, 2 HR, 0 SB
  • Notes: Kyle Karros has a very good hit tool and solid plate approach, but a run-of-the-mill power/speed combo.

Kyler Fedko (OF – MIN)

  • Season: .265/.381/.517 | 14.6 BB% / 19.6 K% | 27 XBH, 16 HR, 16 SB
  • This Week: 8/24 | 6 XBH, 4 HR, 3 SB
  • Notes: The 25-year-old Kyler Fedko is on the older side for a prospect at AA, but he’s having a very strong season

AA Pitchers

49. Robby Snelling (SP – MIA)

  • 2024 AA/AAA: 115 1/3 IP | 13.8 K-BB%, 12.2 SwStr%, 28.9 CSW% | 5.15 ERA, 1.52 WHIP
  • 2025 AA (as of 6/28/25): 67 1/3 IP | 19.9 K-BB%, 12.8 SwStr%, 29.8 CSW% | 3.74 ERA, 1.11 WHIP
  • This Week: 7 IP | 7 Ks, 0 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.43 WHIP
  • Age: 21
  • ETA: Late 2025
  • fScores: 102 fStuff, 97 fControl, fERA 107
  • Comp: Jesus Luzardo-lite
  • Prime Skills: Robby Snelling’s 3/4 arm-slot helps create a lot of deception between his fastball and slider, which he repurposed this year. He also improved his change-up. He’s a three-pitch lefty with an above-average fastball, a good change-up and a stellar breaking pitch with a knack for avoiding hard contact. Snelling was only hitting 93 on the fastball last year, but it’s up to 95-97 this year. We forget how young he was in 2023 when he first broke out. His change-up is also up a couple of ticks from 86 MPH last year to 88-89 this year. The slider is up to an average of about 83 MPH, and that’s where the majority of his strikeouts seem to come from, but he does have some issues in a reverse split against lefties this season, oddly enough.
  • Player Notes: Snelling is now running back-to-back strong starts where he goes deep into the game.

60. Trey Yesavage (SP – TOR)

  • 2024 College: 93 1/3 IP | 145 Ks, 32 BBs | 2.03 ERA, 0.87 WHIP
  • 2025 A/A+/AA (as of 6/28/25): 62 1/3 IP | 31.7 K-BB%, 20.9 SwStr%, 37.8 CSW% | 2.45 ERA, 0.90 WHIP
  • This Week: 5 IP | 8 Ks, 1 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.40 WHIP
  • Age: 21
  • ETA: Early 2026
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: Righty Clayton Kershaw-lite
  • Prime Skills: Trey Yesavage is a big righty with a super over-the-top trebuchet-like delivery that throws a solid fastball, slider, cutter and change-up combo. The fastball is up from 93-95 in college to averaging 97.9 this season, while the cutter generated a 27% SwStr% in Single-A, and the change-up generated a 30.6% SwStr%. Low-A hitters had trouble with his stuff, with only a 1.4% barrel rate against.
  • Player Notes: This was Yesavage’s first great start at AA after a couple of rough introductory starts.

96. Payton Tolle (SP – BOS)

  • 2024 College: 81 1/3 IP | 37.1 K-BB% | 3.64 ERA, 1.15 WHIP
  • 2025 A+ (as of June 28, 2025): 54 2/3 IP | 32.1 K-BB%, 17.8 SwStr%, 37.2% CSW | 3.46 ERA, 1.12 WHIP
  • This Week: 5 IP | 9 Ks, 2 BBs | 1.80 ERA, 0.60 WHIP
  • Age: 22
  • ETA: Debuted
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: Young Tarik Skubal-lite (without the sinker)
  • Prime Skills: Payton Tolle has given up some damage, but has been great despite some homer issues earlier in the season. Tolle has 41 strikeouts and only three walks in his last five starts, but also has had some home run issues, blemishing his stellar under-the-hood metrics. He’s a huge 6-foot-6, 230-pound lefty who gets up to 96 miles per hour (MPH) on the fastball, has a plus wipeout sweeper and a killer change-up.
  • Player Notes: Tolle made his first start at AA. It was fantastic.

John Klein (SP – MIN)

  • 2025 Season: 58 IP | 22.8 K-BB%, 12.4 SwStr%, 26.6 CSW% | 3.10 ERA, 1.14 WHIP
  • This Week: 5 IP | 9 Ks, 1 BBs | 1.80 ERA, 0.60 WHIP
  • Notes: John Klein had been an effective reliever; the Twins decided to move him into the rotation.

2024 Fantasy Baseball Closers Depth Charts Handcuffs

A+ Hitters

2. Max Clark (OF – DET)

  • 2024 A/A+: .279/.372/.421 | 12.4 BB%, 19.2 K% | 36 XBH, 9 HR, 29 SB
  • 2025 A+ (as of 6/28/25): .272/.421/.409 | 19.7 BB%, 16.4 K% | 18 XBH, 6 HR, 12 SB
  • This Week: 9/21 | 3 XBH, 2 HR, 2 SB
  • Age: 20
  • ETA: Mid 2026
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: Corbin Carroll
  • Prime Skills: Max Clark is a multi-sport athlete with a really nice hit tool and a lot of speed. He should develop more power as he ages. He’s likely to develop more into a speed-first, 15-20 homer type based on the small sample size of what we have seen in the Minors and pre-draft. The plate skills are also much better than when you look at first glance, as he has a near elite 4.6% SwStr% and a fantastic 87.4% contact rate.
  • Player Notes: Clark has, I would argue, a 65 hit tool and 65 plate approach with 50/55 power and 65 speed. Plus, he’s a gamer, which is why he’s my No. 2 prospect.

14. Konnor Griffin (OF – PIT)

  • 2024 CPX: N/A
  • 2025 A (as of 6/28/25): .344/.412/.548 | 7.8 BB%, 21.2 K% | 29 XBH, 12 HR, 37 SB
  • This Week: 7/20 | 1 XBH, 1 HR, 4 SB
  • Age: 19
  • ETA: 2028
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: Fernando Tatis Jr.-lite with an Elly De La Cruz statistical profile
  • Prime Skills: Konnor Griffin is a big righty with a good arm as a high school pitcher, and he has some massive power upside. The high stance and high and tight hands in his swing remind me of Fernando Tatis Jr. Like Tatis, he will probably have plenty of swings and misses to go with the damage. Tools for days here as Griffin has already posted a max exit velocity of 114.2 and has a 90th percentile exit velocity of 108.
  • Player Notes: Konnor Griffin is just trying to find a way to make this list every week – this week it’s because of the wheels.

71. Mike Sirota (OF – LAD)

  • 2024 College: .298/.473/.687 | 23 BB%, 18.8 K% | 25 XBH, 7 HR, 19 SB
  • 2025 A/A+ (as of 6/28/25): .338/.442/.646 | 16.1 BB%, 22.7 K% | 32 XBH, 13 HR, 4 SB
  • This Week: 5/18 | 3 XBH, 2 HR, 0 SB
  • Age: 21
  • ETA: 2027
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: Julio Rodriguez-lite
  • Prime Skills: Mike Sirota has an advanced plate approach and big-time athleticism with a power/speed combo that pops as long as he can hit for at least an average level. He’s a twitchy hitter in the box with quick hands that lead to explosive gap power.
  • Player Notes: Sirota has continued his rise and has not slowed down since his emergence.

Braylen Wimmer (SS – COL)

  • Season: .300/.373/.481 | 8 BB% / 21.8 K% | 31 XBH, 10 HR, 25 SB
  • This Week: 8/24 | 3 XBH, 1 HR, 1 SB
  • Notes: Not the biggest week, but Braylen Wimmer has been very good this season. I just wanted to highlight him.

Peyton Graham (SS – MIN)

  • Season: .283/.359/.454 | 9.4 BB% / 23.6 K% | 20 XBH, 7 HR, 9 SB
  • This Week: 12/32 | 6 XBH, 3 HR, 2 SB
  • Notes: Peyton Graham was the second-round pick of the Twins back in 2022 and may finally be breaking out.

Carlos Jorge (SS – CIN)

  • Season: .235/.347/.350 | 13.8 BB% / 20.3 K% | 15 XBH, 5 HR, 21 SB
  • This Week: 12/27 | 6 XBH, 1 HR, 3 SB
  • Notes: Well, this is about the only good week Carlos Jorge has had in the last year or so, but it is nice to see him get back on the board as a formerly hyped prospect.

Wuilfredo Antunez (OF – CLE)

  • Season: .257/.341/.505 | 10.3 BB% / 23.6 K% | 27 XBH, 10 HR, 9 SB
  • This Week: 8/25 | 3 XBH, 2 HR, 3 SB
  • Notes: Wuilfredo Antunez destroys righties and doesn’t do much against lefties, so maybe there’s a platoon bat here.

A+ Pitchers

24. Travis Sykora (SP – WSH)

  • 2024 A: 85 IP | 31 K-BB%, 20.8 SwStr%, 36.2 CSW% | 2.30 ERA, 0.91 WHIP
  • 2025 CPX/A/A+: 40 2/3 IP | 41 K-BB%, 24.2 SwStr%, 41.2 CSW% | 1.11 ERA, 0.61 WHIP
  • This Week: 6 IP | 8 Ks, 2 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.67 WHIP
  • Age: 21
  • ETA: Early 2026
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: Logan Gilbert
  • Prime Skills: Travis Sykora has some sick stuff as a former third-rounder and is a big-time name to watch. He’s a giant at 6-foot-6 with a mid-90s fastball and ridiculous extension due to his size, with more run than ride. He also has a devastating 81-83 MPH splitter and 85 MPH hard slider. I mentioned on my podcast that during his rehab assignment, he looked like he was facing little leaguers; that’s how good his stuff is. He should move fast this year.
  • Player Notes: Sykora has been so good in High-A that he was promoted to AA after his most recent start.

Alex Clemmey (SP – WSH)

  • 2025 Season: 59 1/3 IP | 14 K-BB%, 11.4 SwStr%, 29.6 CSW% | 2.88 ERA, 1.47 WHIP
  • This Week: 5 IP | 7 Ks, 0 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.60 WHIP
  • Notes: Alex Clemmey has very good strikeout stuff and has been on this list a few times this year, but the command is fairly atrocious.

Gary Gill Hill (SP – TB)

  • 2025 Season: 74 IP | 14.3 K-BB%, 10.2 SwStr%, 27.2 CSW% | 4.62 ERA, 1.24 WHIP
  • This Week: 7 IP | 7 Ks, 0 BBs | 2.57 ERA, 0.57 WHIP
  • Notes: Gary Gill Hill has not had great strikeout stuff throughout his Minor League career, which is why I’m not as high on him as others, but this was a great start.

Konner Eaton (SP – COL)

  • 2025 Season: 77 1/3 IP | 17.1 K-BB%, 12.4 SwStr%, 31.2 CSW% | 3.61 ERA, 1.19 WHIP
  • This Week: 6 IP | 11 Ks, 1 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.67 WHIP
  • Notes: Konner Eaton is an athletically built sixth-rounder out of George Mason with a standard lefty 3/4 armslot and has shown to have a very effective slider and should probably be in AA shortly.

Fantasy Baseball Trade Chart

Single-A Hitters

Nate George (OF – BAL)

  • Season: .371/.432/.571 | 8.9 BB% / 18.4 K% | 14 XBH, 4 HR, 2 SB
  • This Week: 8/19 | 5 XBH, 0 HR, 2 SB
  • Notes: Nate George was a 16th-rounder for the Orioles last year and might have been a rare deep draft find. He’s had great BABIP luck to start the year, but he’s been putting up some great numbers. He has been caught stealing 11 times this season, though, so some of his success has been based on pure aggressiveness. The hit tool isn’t bad with a 77% contact rate.

Eric Bitonti (SS – MIL)

  • Season: .241/.344/.430 | 13.6 BB% / 33.3 K% | 23 XBH, 11 HR, 9 SB
  • This Week: 7/24 | 3 XBH, 1 HR, 3 SB
  • Notes: Eric Bitonti has some big-time strikeout issues, but the rest of the profile has been solid for the high-end 2023 third-rounder.

Deniel Ortiz (3B – STL)

  • Season: .281/.406/.427 | 16 BB% / 28.7 K% | 16 XBH, 6 HR, 20 SB
  • This Week: 7/17 | 4 XBH, 1 HR, 4 SB
  • Notes: The power is for real with Deniel Ortiz.

A Pitchers

Cam Caminiti (SP – ATL)

  • 2024 A: 3 IP | 4 Ks, 0 BBs | 3.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP
  • 2025 CPX/A (as of June 25, 2025): 29 IP | 22.8 K-BB%, 13.4 SwStr%, 31.2 SwStr% | 4.97 ERA, 1.31 WHIP
  • This Week: 4 IP | 8 Ks, 0 BBs | 2.25 ERA, 0.75 WHIP
  • Age: 18
  • ETA: 2028
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: A raw MacKenzie Gore with more wiry mechanics
  • Prime Skills: Cam Caminiti has an athletic build at 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds with a mid-to-upper 90s fastball from the left side, but inconsistent secondaries between a slider, change-up and curveball.
  • Notes: Caminiti is looking healthy after an injury to begin the season.

Xavier Rivas (SP – NYY)

  • 2025 Season: 39 IP | 19 K-BB%, 17.8 SwStr%, 34 CSW% | 2.54 ERA, 1.05 WHIP
  • This Week: 5 2/3 IP | 13 Ks, 0 BBs | 4.76 ERA, 1.06 WHIP
  • Notes: Xavier Rivas had a ton of strikeouts this week and had a killer month in June. He’s a lefty on the short side and only throws about 91 MPH with an above-average ride. He does have a very effective gyro slider and change-up that play well off the fastball and sinker combo.

Boston Bateman (SP – SD)

  • 2025 Season: 56 IP | 19 K-BB%, 14.3 SwStr%, 29.6 CSW% | 3.54 ERA, 1.23 WHIP
  • This Week: 5 IP | 9 Ks, 1 BBs | 3.60 ERA, 1.40 WHIP
  • Notes: Boston Bateman was the Padres’ second-rounder last year and has been arguably better than their first-rounder, Kash Mayfield, or at least he’s getting deeper into starts.

Rookie League Hitters

Chase Harlan (3B – LAD)

  • Season: .306/.361/.546 | 9 BB% / 18.9 K% | 16 XBH, 5 HR, 0 SB
  • This Week: 7/18 | 6 XBH, 3 HR, 0 SB
  • Notes: Just what we need – more top-end Dodgers prospects. Chase Harlan was the Dodgers’ third-round pick in 2024.

Adrian Gil (2B – CWS)

  • Season: .281/.389/.526 | 10.4 BB% / 32.5 K% | 18 XBH, 6 HR, 16 SB
  • This Week: 8/18 | 4 XBH, 1 HR, 5 SB
  • Notes: I’m not sure I believe the production here, as Adrian Gil has been rocking an extremely high SwStr% and below 60% contact rate, but it was a good week.

Rookie League Pitchers

Johnny King (SP – TOR)

  • 2025 Season: 24 IP | 34.7 K-BB%, 20.6 SwStr%, 37.1 CSW% | 1.13 ERA, 1.00 WHIP
  • This Week: 4 2/3 IP | 7 Ks, 2 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 1.07 WHIP
  • Notes: Johnny King was promoted to Single-A ball.

Nate Payne (SP – MIA)

  • 2025 Season: 31 IP | 25 K-BB%, 23 SwStr%, 40.6 CSW% | 2.03 ERA, 1.00 WHIP
  • This Week: 5 IP | 8 Ks, 0 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.20 WHIP
  • Notes: Nate Payne has gone three consecutive starts without allowing a run and features a big sweeping slider from the left side.

DSL Hitters

Michael Martinez (OF – ATL)

  • Season: .327/.450/.612 | 13.3 BB% / 13.3 K% | 10 XBH, 2 HR, 4 SB
  • This Week: 9/20 | 6 XBH, 2 HR, 3 SB
  • Notes: Michael Martinez has been stellar for the Braves. Yes, it’s the Dominican Summer League (DSL), but he could be up in Low-A by the end of the season.

DSL Pitchers

Kendry Chourio (SP – KC)

  • 2025 Season: 13 IP | 36 K-BB%, 16.3 SwStr%, 35.6 CSW% | 2.77 ERA, 0.77 WHIP
  • This Week: 4 IP | 9 Ks, 0 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.00 WHIP
  • Notes: I usually don’t care about DSL pitchers, but Kendry Chourio has been phenomenal and has topped out at 96 MPH as a 17-year-old.
