Smash Spots
Bryan Woo has been dominant at home, registering a 2.39 ERA and 0.84 WHIP with 12 walks and 65 strikeouts in 64 innings. Look for Woo to have a strong outing at home against the Athletics.
Hunter Greene returned to action in his last start, pitching six scoreless innings against the Phillies. Up next is a great matchup on the road against the Angels, who have the second-highest strikeout rate in MLB.
Kevin Gausman has allowed two earned runs or fewer in four of his last five starts. Up next is a smash spot on the road in a pitcher’s park against one of the worst lineups in MLB, the Pirates.
Risky Starts
Max Fried has been struggling lately, giving up four earned runs or more in four of his last five starts. This is a tough matchup against the Red Sox, who have posted a 111 wRC+ versus lefties, which is tied for sixth in the Majors.
Luis Castillo just got rocked in his last outing against the Mets, giving up six earned runs. Up next is a tough matchup on the road against one of the best teams in baseball, the Phillies.
Andrew Abbott has been one of the biggest surprises in the league, putting up a 2.41 ERA on the season. Up next is a difficult spot on the road against the Diamondbacks, who rank 13th in wRC+ against lefties this season.

Two-Start Pitchers
Cade Horton is on quite a roll lately, allowing one earned run or fewer in six of his last seven starts. Fire him up with confidence in a two-start week against the Brewers and Angels.
Trevor Rogers is another red-hot pitcher, putting up a 1.43 ERA and 0.81 WHIP with 15 walks and 60 strikeouts in 69.1 innings. While he’s got two tough matchups versus the Red Sox and Astros, you have to ride with a pitcher in this good a rhythm.
Michael Wacha has given up two earned runs or fewer in seven consecutive outings. The veteran has put up a rock-solid 3.35 ERA and 1.15 WHIP on the season. It’s two exploitable matchups against the Rangers and Tigers.
