Welcome to our 10-team half-PPR fantasy football mock draft, where we’ll be drafting from the coveted 1.01 spot. The plan is to anchor the roster with a Hero RB strategy, locking in an elite running back early, then shifting focus to stacking reliable wide receivers and value picks in the middle rounds. Here are a few of my favorite fantasy football draft picks from this recent mock draft.

Fantasy Football Draft Picks to Target
1.01: Bijan Robinson (RB – ATL)
Obviously, this comes down to Bijan Robinson or Ja’Marr Chase, and you can’t go wrong with either.
But for this mock draft, I am using the Hero RB strategy with the idea of landing one elite back and then building around him with high-volume pass-catchers.
2.10: Trey McBride (TE – ARI)
Trey McBride is my guy, and I will try to draft him in all my PPR leagues. When choosing a TE1, you can’t go wrong with either McBride or Brock Bowers.
McBride had 111 receptions last year, one shy of Bowers, but finished ahead of other elite receivers like Justin Jefferson (103), CeeDee Lamb (101) and Garrett Wilson (101).
3.01: Ladd McConkey (WR – LAC)
In his first pro season, Ladd McConkey instantly built chemistry with Justin Herbert, hauling in 82 receptions (19th-most), 1,149 yards and seven touchdowns.
With the lack of pass-catchers in Los Angeles, McConkey should be in store for another high-volume year.
4.10: DJ Moore (WR – CHI)
DJ Moore is another wide receiver who sees a ton of volume. He had 140 targets last season, catching 98 of them for 966 yards and six touchdowns. Yes, Chicago added more playmakers on offense, but we know how elite Ben Johnson’s offense can be when firing on all cylinders.
Moore should be the Amon-Ra St. Brown of this Bears offense
