Through seven weeks, we have a good idea of who’s who and who’s not. New trends are emerging, however, and we’ve seen some huge performances over the last couple of weeks. Let’s take a look at whose dynasty fantasy football value is rising and falling as a result of the Week 7 action.

Dynasty Fantasy Football Risers
Quinshon Judkins (RB – CLE)
It hasn’t always been efficient or pretty, but we don’t get style points in fantasy football. Quinshon Judkins is dominating the workload for the Browns’ backfield and has become the offensive centerpiece for Cleveland. In Week 7, he took 25 of the team’s 29 handoffs, running for 84 yards and three scores, including a 46-yard touchdown scamper.
Judkins hit the risers list following Week 3, when he began to take over the backfield, and he’s carried the ball 20+ times in three of his four games since. He’s eclipsed 100 yards or found the end zone in all three of those games and has now topped 20 PPR points in two games this season after posting 26.4 points on Sunday. A three-touchdown game is a rare feat, but the usage suggests Judkins will have plenty of opportunities to cross the goal line moving forward.
Jaylen Warren (RB – PIT)
If it wasn’t already clear, it should now be understood that Jaylen Warren owns the Steelers’ backfield for the foreseeable future. While he has led the backfield when healthy this season, Week 7 saw Warren combine his bump in usage with the efficiency that we know and love, rushing 16 times for 127 yards and catching four passes for 31 yards.
Warren’s 19.8 fantasy points were a season high. He’s fallen short of double-digit points in just one contest when he landed at 8.3 in Week 6. The biggest blemish on Warren’s stats this season is a lack of touchdowns. He has yet to rush for a score and has just one receiving touchdown on the year, which came in Week 1. Either way, Warren is leaving Kenneth Gainwell in the dust, and Kaleb Johnson is a complete non-factor. At just 26 years old, Warren is signed with the Steelers for the next two years and may not relinquish this job anytime soon.
Jordan Addison (WR – MIN)
Jordan Addison has yet to play a game with J.J. McCarthy, but he’s been cooking in his three games with Carson Wentz at the helm. Addison caught nine of his 12 targets on Sunday for 128 yards. His 21.8 PPR points are the most of his season thus far, but Addison has topped 15 points in each of his three games played following his suspension.
Dating back to his season debut in Week 4, Addison is the WR12 in points per game. It remains to be seen if the receiver will share the same chemistry with McCarthy as he does with Wentz, but Addison is currently an undervalued dynasty asset.
Kyle Monangai (RB – CHI)
With his snaps creeping up the last couple of weeks, Kyle Monangai is moving closer to a split backfield with D’Andre Swift after playing 46% of the snaps on Sunday compared to 53% for Swift.
It was the first game, however, that Monangai put his stamp from a production standpoint as the seventh-round rookie out of Rutgers turned 13 carries into 81 yards and a score, adding two grabs for 13 yards and compiling 17.4 fantasy points.
Monangai has taken over the majority of third-down snaps and is now getting looks at the goal line, making him a serious candidate to continue ascending in the coming weeks.
Jalen Hurts (QB – PHI), A.J. Brown (WR – PHI) & DeVonta Smith (WR – PHI)
The fantasy football world’s panic meter was much higher on the Eagles’ passing game than it realistically should have been. Nonetheless, the trio of Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith deserve to be included here after putting those concerns to rest. With another day of tough sledding on the ground, Hurts took over with his arm, completing 19-of-23 passes for 326 yards and three touchdowns for a perfect passer rating of 158.3.
Hurts silenced many haters while aiding a big day for DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown. Standing as the WR2 and WR4 on the week, respectively, Smith and Brown combined for 61.4 fantasy points. Smith brought in nine of his 11 targets for 183 and a score, while Brown passed the goal line twice on his four catches for 121 yards. The offense has its swagger back, and these three remain high-end dynasty assets.
Oronde Gadsden II (TE – LAC) & Ladd McConkey (WR – LAC)
Admittedly, I’ve already written about Oronde Gadsden on the risers list a couple of times this season. I hope you listened and are reaping the rewards of his value bump after snatching seven of his nine targets for 164 yards and a touchdown on Sunday.
Gadsden flashed in his debut in Week 3 and has slowly surpassed his peers in snap share. He’s now seen 17 targets across the last two weeks while catching 14 passes for 232 yards. It’s even more notable that Gadsden saw his highest target total this Week with Quentin Johnston returning to the lineup.
Ladd McConkey drew a whopping 15 targets on Sunday after seeing nine in Week 6. Again, this is notable with Johnston back in the lineup. His nine catches went for just 67 yards, but he’s now hit 15 PPR points in each of the last three weeks after hitting 100 yards in Week 6. We should see McConkey’s production continue to increase as the season goes along.
Dynasty Fantasy Football Fallers
Xavier Worthy (WR – KC)
Many had high hopes that Xavier Worthy would take over the top target role in the Chiefs’ offense while Rashee Rice was out for the first six weeks of the season. Instead, Worthy got banged up and missed time, stumbling his way to just 180 receiving yards across the last four weeks.
With Rice returning in Week 7, it was clear who the number one option is. Rice was prioritized throughout the contest, drawing 10 targets and finding the end zone twice. Worthy will explode from time to time, but the week-to-week consistency is very hit or miss.
Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR – ARI)
Despite a healthy offensive showing from the Cardinals and Jacoby Brissett, in which they were chasing points against the Packers all day, Marvin Harrison Jr. caught just two passes for 58 yards. His 7.8 points mark the fourth time in seven games that he’s failed to hit double-digit points, and he’s yet to post a 100-yard game this season.
The Cardinals force-fed him 10 targets on Thursday night in Week 4, and he responded in the second half after a difficult first half, including a crucial touchdown grab. It had the potential to be a turning point, but it seems to be the same old story for last year’s fourth overall selection.
RJ Harvey (RB – DEN)
The rise of RJ Harvey stock hit a speed bump when the Broncos signed J.K. Dobbins before the start of the season, but it’s been rolling downhill since. The rookie still has a lot of potential in Sean Payton’s offense, and it’s too early to put a bow on his season, but he has struggled to get anything going on the ground through seven weeks.
Harvey rushed four times for zero yards on Sunday, although he did take his lone reception into the end zone for a two-yard score. It’s possible Harvey can find his footing and turn a corner later this season, but his value is hurting after seeing just 54 touches through seven weeks compared to 112 for Dobbins.
Tua Tagovailoa (QB – MIA)
Could it get any worse in Miami? After posting 6.6 fantasy points in Week 6, Tagovailoa crushed his teammates for tardiness and skipping players-only meetings.
That was followed up with -1.4 fantasy points this week and a trip to the bench after throwing for just 100 yards while completing three passes to the defense. It’s truly a sinking ship in South Beach, and I’m afraid Tagovailoa may never recover.
