Everyone loves an Ask Me Anything (AMA), especially the fantasy football community. You can put me at the top of the list of those who love fantasy football AMA. Answering questions for a specific individual fantasy player is so much fun. Not only am I helping that fantasy player improve their team, but it also challenges me to think outside the general box of who is higher in my rankings or who to start this year.
FantasyPros does an excellent job with their Discord AMAs, giving members a chance to have their questions answered by professionals. Please join my Discord channel and reach out to me anytime with any fantasy football questions.

Fantasy Football Discord AMA & Mailbag
So, without further ado, let’s dive into some of the questions and answers from my Week 8 Discord AMA.
Lineup Questions
Start Mason Taylor or Oronde Gadsden II in Week 8?
I had high hopes for Taylor last week, with the New York Jets missing Garrett Wilson. However, he only had five targets and 6.1 PPR fantasy points against the Miami Dolphins. Yet, I might give him another chance this week against a Cincinnati Bengals defense that gave up four touchdowns to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ tight ends in Week 7. Meanwhile, Gadsden has been outstanding the past two weeks. I will have him higher than Taylor in my weekly rankings, but it will be close.
Waiver Wire Questions
Would you hold onto Jameson Williams during his bye week?
Unfortunately, it might be time to give up on Williams. He is a boom-or-bust WR4, who has struggled this season. The former Alabama star has scored under 6.7 PPR fantasy points in all but two contests. Furthermore, after totaling seven targets and 18.6 fantasy points against the Kansas City Chiefs last week, Williams had two targets and zero fantasy points on Monday night despite the fantasy-friendly matchup. I’m ready to drop him, especially with the Detroit Lions on a bye this week.
Is it time to give up on TreVeyon Henderson and drop him?
Fantasy players rightfully are frustrated with the lack of touches for Henderson. The rookie had only two rushing attempts and zero targets in Week 7 despite an excellent matchup against an awful Tennessee Titans run defense, scoring 0.5 PPR fantasy points. Yet, I would like to hold onto Henderson a little longer. I wouldn’t drop him for Kyle Monangai. The only way I’m dropping Henderson is if I need that roster spot to add someone to start in Week 8.
Which Denver Broncos wide receiver should I pick up?
Honestly, I’m not spending much FAAB on Troy Franklin or Marvin Mims Jr. Both players scored 12.9 or more PPR fantasy points in the Broncos’ comeback win over the New York Giants. However, both wide receivers have been wildly inconsistent this season. Franklin is the safer floor option, seeing a team-high 10 targets last week. Meanwhile, Mims is more of a boom-or-bust upside option. The answer really depends on which profile you need out of the wide receiver.
Trade Questions
Would you try to sell high on Tee Higgins and Chase Brown?
I would look to sell high as best as I can with Brown. He scored 12 PPR fantasy points on Thursday night, his highest total since playing with Joe Burrow in Week 1 (13.1). Meanwhile, I have more faith in Higgins now that Joe Flacco is under center. The former Clemson star has had at least eight targets and 11.2 or more fantasy points in both games that Flacco started. He has top-15 upside this week against the New York Jets.
Should I try and sell high on A.J. Brown after his two-touchdown game?
Fantasy players should always look to sell high after a player who has struggled had a big performance. However, I’m only trading Brown away if I get a top-12 wide receiver in return. I would flip him for Emeka Egbuka or Drake London. Brown has seen the target volume, averaging 8.3 targets per game since Week 1. Unfortunately, the superstar has struggled to connect with Jalen Hurts consistently. Hopefully, that improves in the second half of the season.
Is Jahmyr Gibbs and Drake London for Derrick Henry and Jaxon Smith-Njigba a fair trade?
That might be one of the fairest trades I’ve ever seen. Both teams get a weekly starting running back and wide receiver. However, I would rather have the Gibbs and London side of the trade. While Smith-Njigba has been outstanding this season, London has also played well for stretches. What makes the trade lean slightly in favor of the London side is the difference in value between Gibbs and Henry. Yet, the trade is a win-win, especially depending on roster construction.
Dynasty Questions
As a rebuilding team, what would you trade Oronde Gadsden II away for if I also have Brock Bowers?
I love this question! Having Bowers gives you so many options at tight end, especially as a rebuilding team. I would look to sell high on Gadsden after he had 14 receptions on 17 targets for 232 receiving yards, and 41.2 PPR fantasy points over the past two weeks. If it was a tight end premium scoring league, you might get a first-round rookie pick for Gadsden. However, I would happily take a pair of second-round picks for the rookie tight end, especially if both are in 2027.
