NFL DFS Lineup Advice: Best Stacks (Week 8)

NFL DFS will be more condensed in Week 8 with six teams on bye. There are still several good games to target from a production standpoint, including the Miami Dolphins vs. Atlanta Falcons, New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints.

New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles

It’s a revenge game at home for the Philadelphia Eagles. The last time the Eagles played the Giants, they were blown out as a massive favorite in prime-time. Expect Jalen Hurts to continue building off a monster outing with WR Devonta Smith in Week 7, especially with A.J. Brown ruled out.

Smith went off for 9-183-1 and scored 33.3 fantasy points against the Vikings. Now, he’ll play a Giants defense allowing 5.7 yards per play, fifth-highest in the NFL. New York also just gave up 33 points in the fourth quarter to blow a win against Denver.

There are a few high-value stack builds on the Giants. We’re going to ignore RB Cam Skattebo and swap him for a cheaper play with Tyrone Tracy Jr. The Giants’ RB2 scored a touchdown against the Broncos and finished with nine carries for 46 yards. Now, he plays an Eagles run defense allowing 4.6 YPC and nine total rushing touchdowns.

Jaxson Dart’s dual-threat ability is worth the elevated salary. We’ll stack Dart with WR Wan’Dale Robinson, who just had a season-high 12 targets against Denver. Robinson turned those targets into 6-95, yielding 15.5 fantasy points.

Miami Dolphins vs. Atlanta Falcons

It’s been an ugly year for the Miami Dolphins. They’ll head to comfortable conditions inside of Mercedes-Benz Stadium to face a stout Atlanta Falcons defense in Week 8.

Despite a tough matchup on paper, there’s still value backing Tua Tagovailoa and De’Von Achane in a stack. Achane remains one of Tagovailoa’s favorite targets, logging a 19.4 percent target share, including at least five targets in three straight games.

Atlanta’s pass defense is one of the best in the league. Expect plenty of bubble screens and check downs from Tagovailoa to Achane, who is elite at picking up yards after reception.

Michael Penix Jr. is expected to miss his first game of the season with an injury. This means we’re likely to see Kirk Cousins make his 2025 Falcons debut. Miami’s pass defense is bad, allowing 6.9 net yards gained per pass attempt, a bottom-five mark in the league.

The Dolphins have surrendered 11 passing touchdowns and only forced one interception. It’s a great matchup for Cousins to ease into, so we’ll stack him with WR2 Darnell Mooney and RB2 Tyler Allgeier.

Mooney just recorded 3-68 on five targets against San Francisco. He’s gone over 40 receiving yards in two of four starts and draws a favorable matchup. Mooney could also benefit from Miami focusing their attention on star wideout Drake London.

Allgeier is tagged questionable with a hip injury. However, if he plays, expect another outing with double-digit carries against a porous Miami run defense.

Allgeier has scored two of his three touchdowns in the last three games for Atlanta. With several red zone trips likely, Allgeier’s number will likely be called to punch in a fourth touchdown at a cheap $4,400 salary.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints

We’ve got a fun NFC South rivalry game set up between Tampa Bay and New Orleans in Week 8. Baker Mayfield lost WR Mike Evans with a collarbone injury during the Buccaneers’ 24-9 loss to Detroit last week. Now, he’ll look to bounce back with a road win against the Saints.

Mayfield’s MVP-caliber play should be on full display against the Saints’ pass defense. New Orleans is allowing 6.7 net yards gained per pass attempt, meaning Mayfield is going to be set up for success through the air.

Let’s stack Mayfield with rookie wideout Emeka Egbuka. It’s a premium price to acquire these two, however, it’s going to return value in lineups. Egbuka had 12 targets against the Lions, so expect a similar beefy target share to turn into more than 9.8 fantasy points this time around.

Rachaad White has been solid for Tampa Bay in relief of injured RB Bucky Irving. White has between three to six targets in four straight games, while handling 10-17 carries in three consecutive matchups. He logged 23.1 and 17.6 fantasy points against Seattle and San Francisco, before cooling off with 8.4 points against Detroit.

Spencer Rattler is a huge discount in comparison to Mayfield. The Saints’ QB1 has had some strong play at times this season, especially unloading a pair of touchdown passes to Saints’ WR1 Chris Olave. Olave has recorded at least five receptions in three straight outings and 98 receiving yards in back-to-back games.

Rattler-Olave is a cheap stack that could go off against Tampa Bay’s pass defense. Meanwhile, an expensive Mayfield-Egbuka-White stack is also warranted in a bounce-back spot.
