Fantasy Football Stock Report: Week 13

Fantasy Football Risers

Jayden Higgins (WR – HOU)

Jayden Higgins continued to show out with Davis Mills, catching four balls on a career-high nine targets for 38 yards and a touchdown, leading the Texans with a 30% target share and 50.2% air yard share. With CJ Stroud out the last three games, Higgins has become a focal piece of the offense, finding the end zone twice during that stretch, averaging 4.3 receptions on 7.7 targets for 45 yards, trailing only Nico Collins (32.5%) for second on the team in air yard share (31.2%) since Week 10.

John Metchie III (WR – NYJ)

John Metchie III was immediately a difference maker in his Jets debut, catching all three of his targets for 45 yards and a touchdown, trailing only Isiah Williams (79.3%) for second on the team in route participation rate (69%). He was even better with the transition from Justin Fields to Tyrod Taylor under center this past week, catching six balls on seven targets for 65 yards, finding the endzone in back-to-back games, and finishing tied with Adonai Mitchell (25%) for first on the team in target share (25%).

Darnell Mooney (WR – ATL)

Darnell Mooney has been a non-factor for most of the 2025 season, topping 34 receiving yards only twice entering Week 12, finishing outside the top 40 among wide receivers in seven out of eight (87.5%) games. However, with Kirk Cousins back under center and Drake London out this past weekend, Mooney showed signs of life, catching all three of his targets for 74 yards and a score, finishing behind only Kyle Pitts (21.7%) and tied for second on the team in target share (13%).

Fantasy Football Fallers

Keon Coleman (WR – BUF)

Keon Coleman has now been a healthy scratch in back-to-back weeks despite the Bills missing critical pieces of their offense in both games, after already lacking depth coming into the season. Aside from a blow-up performance in Week 1, Coleman hasn’t brought much to the offense, averaging 3.0 receptions on 4.8 targets for less than 30 yards (28.6) over his last 8 games. To make matters worse, Buffalo also signed Brandin Cooks earlier this week, putting Coleman at risk of being out a third consecutive game.

Alvin Kamara (RB – NO)

Alvin Kamara played just 11 snaps before exiting Week 12 with a knee injury, handling three carries for 11 scoreless. With Kendre Miller already out for the season, sixth-round rookie (No. 184 overall) Devin Neal was the only other back that saw the field, totaling 12 touches on 14 opportunities for a career-high 61 yards from scrimmage. At 2-9, currently sitting dead last in the NFC South, the Saints will likely take their time with Kamara, who has already been ruled out for Week 13 with a knee sprain.

J.J. McCarthy (QB – MIN)

J.J. McCarthy is coming off his worst game of the season, throwing for a career-low 87 yards on 19 dropbacks with two interceptions and no touchdowns. He was diagnosed with a concussion shortly after and has yet to clear protocol, already ruled out for Week 13. As a result, undrafted rookie Max Brosmer will draw the start which may actually be a good thing for the Vikings offense. Per Sumer Sports, there haven’t been many quarterbacks worse than McCarthy this season, who ranks 68th out of 69 qualified quarterbacks in both total EPA (-76.31) and pass EPA (73.78), averaging 154.8 passing yards per game.
