Everyone loves an Ask Me Anything (AMA), especially the fantasy football community. You can put me at the top of the list of those who love fantasy football AMA. Answering questions for a specific individual fantasy player is so much fun. Not only am I helping that fantasy player improve their team, but it also challenges me to think outside the general box of who is higher in my rankings or who to start this year.
FantasyPros does an excellent job with their Discord AMAs, giving members a chance to have their questions answered by professionals. Please join my Discord channel and reach out to me anytime with any fantasy football questions.

Fantasy Football Discord AMA & Mailbag
So, without further ado, let’s dive into some of the questions and answers from my Week 13 Discord AMA.
Lineup Questions
Which two would you start in Week 13 between Omarion Hampton, Quinshon Judkins, and Ashton Jeanty?
I haven’t done my Week 13 rankings yet, but I lean towards sitting Hampton. We don’t know if he is playing this week, which might make your decision easy. Furthermore, the rookie could get eased back into the lineup after missing the past six games with an ankle injury. The Los Angeles Chargers could also split the backfield work between Kimani Vidal and Hampton for at least one game. That said, I will likely have all three rookies similarly ranked this week.
Should I start Michael Wilson or Courtland Sutton this week?
Hopefully, Marvin Harrison Jr. returns to the lineup this week after missing the past two games due to undergoing an appendectomy. However, head coach Jonathan Gannon said the second-year pro doesn’t have a timetable for his return, which could mean Wilson is the Arizona Cardinals’ No. 1 wide receiver for a third consecutive week. I would start Sutton over Wilson if Harrison plays. Meanwhile, Wilson is a must-start if Harrison misses his third straight game. Both wide receivers have fantasy-friendly matchups on Sunday.
Waiver Wire Questions
Would you drop Chris Rodriguez Jr. for Devin Neal?
Unfortunately, Alvin Kamara reportedly suffered a MCL sprain in Sunday’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Neal played well, totaling seven rushing attempts for 18 yards and five receptions for 43 receiving yards, scoring 11.1 PPR fantasy points. I would drop Rodriguez for Neal, as the rookie could be the New Orleans Saints’ starter for the rest of the season if they shut down Kamara. Unfortunately, his fantasy upside is limited because of Taysom Hill.
Is Jayden Reed or Luther Burden III the better stash candidate?
Burden is by far the better stash candidate. While Reed had his 21-day practice window opened on Friday, we don’t know when the former Michigan State star will return to the lineup. More importantly, the Green Bay Packers want to lean on their run game and limit Jordan Love’s pass attempts because of his injured shoulder. Meanwhile, Burden is starting to earn a consistent role in the Chicago Bears’ offense, totaling five targets in back-to-back games.
Outlook Questions
What should we do with Justin Jefferson if J.J. McCarthy or Max Brosmer is under center this week?
It has been rough starting Jefferson with McCarthy under center. The superstar averaged 10 targets and 16.3 PPR fantasy points per game in the five contests with Carson Wentz. By comparison, he has averaged 8.2 targets and 11.7 fantasy points per game in McCarthy’s six starts. Unfortunately, McCarthy is in the concussion protocol, meaning Brosmer could make his first career start on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. I will have Jefferson ranked as a low-end WR2, making him far from a must-start player.
Thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers’ backfield moving forward?
Fantasy players can start both Pittsburgh running backs. I will have Jaylen Warren ranked ahead of Kenneth Gainwell in Week 13 despite getting outscored in PPR formats last week. Warren was coming off an ankle injury. Furthermore, Gainwell had eight fewer rushing attempts and two fewer touches than Warren. Most of Gainwell’s fantasy production came in the passing game. I would bet on Warren being a mid-range RB2 for the rest of the year, while Gainwell is more of a safe floor flex option in PPR scoring.
How worried should we be about Emeka Egbuka, given his recent struggles?
Egbuka was outstanding to start the season, averaging 7.6 targets and 20.5 PPR fantasy points per game over the first five weeks. However, he had more than eight targets only once during that stretch. Meanwhile, his production has slipped since the hot start, averaging 9.9 fantasy points per game. Yet, Egbuka has averaged 9.2 targets per game since the hot start, totaling eight or more in all but one contest. While he has struggled lately, Egbuka remains a plug-and-play low-end WR1 because of his target volume.
Dynasty Questions
Would you trade a third and fourth round pick for Travis Etienne Jr. in an eight-team dynasty league?
Rarely do you see eight-team dynasty leagues, so those third and fourth round rookie picks have more value than in typical dynasty leagues. However, I would still make this trade and acquire Etienne. The veteran hasn’t been a superstar for fantasy players. Yet, he has been a plug-and-play RB2 for most of the year, averaging 14.9 PPR fantasy points per game. Whether Etienne is back with the Jacksonville Jaguars next season or on another team, he is well worth the two rookie picks.
How do you value Tee Higgins, Chris Olave, and Jaylen Waddle in dynasty?
I really like all three wide receivers in dynasty and wish I had more exposure in my own leagues. While I value all three similarly, Higgins is my favorite of the trio because of his quarterback situation. Olave and Waddle could have new starting quarterbacks next season. While they could be upgrades over the current starters, nothing is guaranteed. Meanwhile, we know Higgins will have Joe Burrow as his quarterback for next year and likely the foreseeable future.
