Fantasy Football Injury Report & Updates (2025)

Week 9 still has the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals left to play on Monday night. Still, there are some injuries to highlight, including, unfortunately, the TE2 in PPR leagues, who suffered what is believed to be a season-ending injury.

Check them out below to help you prepare for Week 10. And check out all of our fantasy football waiver wire pickups for the week.

Fantasy Football Injury Updates

Quarterback

C.J. Stroud (QB – HOU)

C.J. Stroud suffered a concussion in the Texans’ 18-15 loss at home to the Denver Broncos. Of course, any time a player suffers a concussion, there’s a chance they could play the next week.

If Stroud can’t go, it will be Davis Mills on deck against the Jacksonville Jaguars. In relief of Stroud, Mills completed 17-of-30 passes for 137 yards. He’d be a non-factor for fantasy purposes.

Aaron Rodgers (QB – PIT)

Aaron Rodgers played just fine in Week 9, completing 25-of-35 passes for 203 yards and a touchdown in a 27-20 upset against the Indianapolis Colts.

However, before the game, Rodgers appeared to be dealing with a hand injury. Again, he played and everything was fine, but this is something to keep an eye on.

Jayden Daniels (QB – WAS)

Daniels suffered the brutal injury late in a blowout loss on Sunday. It is uncertain whether his season is over or not. Marcus Mariota will return behind center for the Commanders, limiting the upside of the offense for the offensive weapons around him and for fantasy managers. Mariota can be a QB2 for those in 2-QB and superflex leagues.

Running Back

Aaron Jones (RB – MIN)

Aaron Jones left the Vikings’ 27-24 upset road win against the Detroit Lions early with a shoulder injury. Before departing, he ran nine times for 78 yards and caught two passes for 20 yards.

Jones missed four games with a hamstring injury earlier this season. He’s a solid Flex play when healthy, but he seemingly can’t stay on the field long. It’ll be all Jordan Mason once again should Jones miss time.

Samaje Perine (RB – CIN)

Samaje Perine suffered a leg injury in a heartbreaking 47-42 loss to the Chicago Bears. He’s been getting more carries lately, running 16 times in Weeks 7 and 8, including nine carries for 94 yards and a score last week.

This is something to monitor. If Perine misses time, Chase Brown will get even more work.

Wide Receiver

Matthew Golden (WR – GB)

Matthew Golden caught two passes for nine yards before leaving the Packers’ 16-13 loss early with a shoulder injury. He was one of two injured Packers, along with tight end Tucker Kraft (more on that later).

Should both players miss time, expect Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson to see a lot more usage.

Kayshon Boutte (WR – NE)

Heading into Week 9, Kayshon Boutte caught four touchdowns over his last three games, but he left this week’s game early with a hamstring injury and didn’t catch a single pass before exiting.

Hamstring injuries are always difficult to assess, but if Boutte misses time, I’d expect more of the same from the Patriots’ offense — spreading it around with Hunter Henry, Stefon Diggs and DeMario Douglas as the top three targets for quarterback Drake Maye.

Terry McLaurin (WR – WSH)

Terry McLaurin was ruled out of Week 9 and will also miss Week 10 with a quad injury.

Dyami Brown (WR – JAX)

Dyami Brown left the Jaguars’ thrilling 30-29 overtime win against the Las Vegas Raiders early due to a concussion. He boasts a team target share of just under 12%, so he isn’t used all too often.

That said, if Brown misses time, expect Parker Washington to get more snaps like he did in Week 9, where he caught eight passes for 90 yards.

Travis Hunter (WR – JAX)

Travis Hunter suffered a non-contact knee injury during Thursday’s practice and was placed on injured reserve (IR). As mentioned above with Brown, Washington should see plenty of looks with Dyami Brown and Hunter out. When neither is on the field, Washington has a 22.5% target share.

Puka Nacua (WR – LAR)

Puka Nacua left the Rams’ win over the New Orleans Saints early with a chest injury, but according to head coach Sean McVay, Nacua could’ve come back into the game, but erred on the side of caution.

That’s encouraging news, considering Nacua recently missed a game with an ankle injury.

Tight End

Cole Kmet (TE – CHI)

Cole Kmet suffered a concussion in the Bears’ 47-42 win over the Bengals. In his place, Colston Loveland caught six passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns.

Kmet’s fantasy value was already limited, and following that performance from Loveland, I expect Kmet to be an afterthought now.

Tucker Kraft (TE – GB)

According to Mike Silver of The Athletic [h/t Matt Schneidman], Tucker Kraft is feared to have torn his ACL.

This would be massively devastating for fantasy managers as, from Weeks 1 to 8, Kraft was the TE2 in PPR leagues. The next tight ends up for the Packers are Luke Musgrave and John FitzPatrick. I expect the Packers to utilize their receivers and running back Josh Jacobs more.
