Two-Start Pitcher Lookahead: Week 4 (2026 Fantasy Baseball)

Each week during the fantasy baseball season, I’ll take a look at two-start pitchers for the week ahead. This week, we’ll focus on the pitchers lined up to make multiple starts for Week 4 (April 20-April 26).

Fantasy Baseball Two-Start Pitcher Lookahead: Week 4

Here are the pitchers with two starts in Week 4 who are pretty universally rostered (>80%):

Two-Start Rostered Pitchers Notes

  • Nolan McLean has some of the best matchups of the week. Both Minnesota (eighth) and Colorado (10th) are among the bottom 10 teams in strikeout rate against right-handed pitchers. The Mets rookie righty currently has a 31% strikeout rate in his first three starts.
  • Shota Imanaga has some of the toughest matchups of the week. The Phillies are among the top three teams in wOBA against left-handed pitchers, but they have a lot of talent and can turn it around in a hurry. His other matchup is against the Dodgers, who have the second-best wOBA against lefties.

Two-Start Streamer Options

Two-Start Streamer Options Notes

  • Emerson Hancock has been fantastic in his first two starts of the season. In Week 4, he’s first lined up to face the Athletics at home in Seattle. They strike out the most as a team against righties. His second matchup is on the road versus the Cardinals. They aren’t as easy in the strikeout department, but they rank in the bottom 10 in wOBA.
  • Mick Abel bounced back from his first two poor starts with six scoreless innings against the Tigers in his third. He still allowed three walks, and that makes 10 in 13.1 innings.
  • Chase Dollander gets two brutal matchups versus the Dodgers, who are the best team in terms of wOBA against righties, and then the Mets on the road. Not that anyone has been rostering him, but Dollander definitely shouldn’t be used, even in a two-start week.
