Brandon McCarthy allowed three hits, one earned run, walked one, and struck out five in six innings Sunday against the Marlins. 54-of-75 pitches were thrown for strikes.
Fantasy Impact:
A nice bounce back game for McCarthy after allowing six earned runs in his last start against the Giants. McCarthy now has a 3.76 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and 35 strikeouts in 40 2/3 innings. He is next scheduled to face the Cubs at home.
