Ryan Braun (calf) starts running, nearing rehab assignment

Ryan Braun has returned to the field to start running and taking part in baseball activities. He "sees the light at the end of the tunnel" and should begin a minor league rehab stint soon. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Although no definitive timetable has been established it is a good sign for the Brewers and his fantasy owners that Braun is making progress from his calf injury. Braun has only played five games since May 2 and holds a .262 average with seven homers and 19 RBIs in 30 games played this season. Braun's eventual return will cause some interesting decisions to be made in a suddenly crowded Brewers' outfield.
