Phillies pitcher Vince Velasquez allowed two earned runs on six hits and two walks while striking out three over seven innings in a win over the Diamondbacks on Monday. The win brings him to 4-6 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Monday was the first quality start for Velasquez since April 14 as he has bounced back and forth between the rotation and the bullpen this season, with mixed results. He now has a 4.23 ERA and 88 strikeouts over 78 2/3 innings on the year. His next start should come against the Giants in San Francisco.
