Stephen Strasburg throwing near home

Washington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg is throwing near his Washington home. (Jon Heyman at the New York Post)
The news is mildly encouraging as Strasburg was shut down for the 2022 season after making just one start and eventually undergoing Thoracic Outlet Syndrome surgery. The 2019 World Series MVP has pitched just 31 1/3 innings across three seasons after winning the title due to a myriad of injuries. At age 34 and coming off a wildly uncertain injury, Strasburg's future remains cloudy as ever despite his continued throwing.
