Chafin began the 2022 season on the injured list with the same injury, so the D-backs are taking a cautious approach with the left-hander this spring. The veteran returned to the organization he spent parts of seven seasons with this winter on the heels of a 2.83 ERA and 27.6% K% while with the Tigers in 2022. He's been among the very best left-handed relievers in baseball over the last two seasons and is the owner of a career 3.23 ERA across 476 big-league outings.
