Aaron Judge homers, collects two hits in Opening Day win Thursday

Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and one run scored in New York’s 5-0 Opening Day win against San Francisco.

Fantasy Impact:

Aaron Judge took Logan Webb deep in his first at-bat of the year to stake the Yankees to an early 1-0 lead that ended up being all they would have needed. Judge later picked up an RBI single to extend the Yankee lead to the final score of 5-0. It should come as no surprise that Roger Maris also homered in his first at-bat of the 1962 season after hitting 61 homers in 1961. Judge has rewarded the Yankees and fantasy managers alike for paying the steep price tag, one in salary and the other in draft capital, and looks locked in for another big year.
