Kelly went 0-for-1 with a walk and a run scored before being lifted for a pinch-hitter in the eighth inning of Tuesday's series opener but will return to the bench on Wednesday. Kelly continues to struggle at the plate, hitting just .178 with one homer across 17 games since joining the Tigers.
