Jack Flaherty Earns Quality Start as Tigers Fall to Guardians

Jack Flaherty allowed three earned runs on three hits and three walks while striking out eight over 6.2 innings in Thursday's loss to the Guardians.
Fantasy Impact:
After today’s performance, Flaherty now holds a 4.39 ERA and 1.18 WHIP with a 2-6 record across 10 starts this season. It hasn't been the same magical start he had last year with Detroit, but there are some promising signs. His strikeout rate is right in line with where it was last year, although his walk rate has crept up a little bit. Of his 10 starts, Flaherty has allowed multiple walks in seven of them. Fantasy managers will want to see him get his walks under control before treating him as the ace-adjacent player he was last year. He gets the Giants next time out.
