Ryan Yarbrough has been placed on the 15-day IL due to a right oblique strain, retroactive to 6/20. (New York Yankees on X)
Fantasy Impact:
The veteran lefty will head to the IL for at least two weeks as he looks to recover. Marcus Stroman, who is nearing the end of his rehab assignment, could be an option to replace Yarbrough in the starting rotation. Jayvien Sandridge has been recalled from Triple-A.
