While Seiya Suzuki missed his fifth straight game on Tuesday due to bronchitis, Chicago Cubs manager Craig Counsell said that Suzuki came to the ballpark with more energy compared to the last few days. (MLB.com)

Suzuki is showing signs of improvement and appears to be nearing a return as his energy levels are up. He remains day-to-day, and in his absence, Willi Castro will continue to get the majority of starts in right field.
