by David Leisering | Brewers Correspondent | Mon, Feb 9th 10:21am EST
Utility infielder Andruw Monasterio is heading to the Boston Red Sox, along with Caleb Durbin and Anthony Seigler. Boston also receives a Competitive Balance Round B pick. In return, Milwaukee gets David Hamilton, Kyle Harrison, and Shane Drohan. (Will Sammon on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Monasterio has played parts of three seasons in the majors - all with Milwaukee - and has slashed .250/.321/.351 across 592 career plate appearances. The utilityman can play a number of positions and could eventually fill a bench role in Boston. However, he is most likely headed to Triple-A Worcester to begin the year.
