Liam Hendriks (elbow) throws live batting practice Monday
by David Leisering | Mon, Feb 23rd 3:42pm EST
Liam Hendriks (elbow) threw live batting practice on Monday - the first time he's faced hitters since undergoing surgery on his right elbow last September. (Dan Hayes on X)
Fantasy Impact:
The 37-year-old Hendriks made only 14 appearances for the Red Sox last season and pitched to a 6.59 ERA in 13.2 innings. The veteran has pitched 14 seasons at the big league level and has a 3.88 ERA with 116 saves in 490 appearances. He is in Twins' camp as a non-roster invitee but, given the inexperience in the bullpen, Hendriks could break camp as a member of Minnesota's opening day roster.
