Quintana landed on the injured list April 2, retroactive to March 30, due to a right hamstring strain. He threw a bullpen session on Thursday and is scheduled to complete his second since landing on the IL on Sunday. Colorado Rockies manager Warren Schaeffer confirmed that Quintana will not need a rehab assignment, meaning he could return to the Rockies rotation as soon as he is eligible on April 14.
