Tommy Edman (ankle) progressing in rehab

Edman (ankle) underwent right ankle surgery during the offseason and has been ruled out for Opening Day. He has begun taking swings in the batting cage. (Jack Harris)
Fantasy Impact:
He will not appear in any Cactus League games before camp concludes. Edman is expected to remain in extended spring training to continue his rehabilitation before being assigned to a minor-league affiliate for a rehab assignment. Los Angeles has not announced a target date for his season debut.
