Red Sox left-hander Patrick Sandoval (elbow) will throw an extended bullpen session on Thursday, rather than facing live hitters. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
If all goes well on Thursday, Sandoval is expected to face hitters the week of March 16. Sandoval missed the entire 2025 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery midway through the 2024 campaign. He is still expected to begin the 2026 campaign on the injured list considering his progression this spring.
