Willson Contreras is dealing with lower back tightness, but is hopeful to return to the Boston Red Sox’s lineup for Friday’s game against the Detroit Tigers.
Fantasy Impact:
Contreras exited Tuesday’s game against the Minnesota Twins in the fifth inning due to lower back tightness and did not play in Wednesday’s contest. With an off day on Thursday, he is hopeful that a couple of days of rest will allow him to return to the lineup on Friday. If he’s unable to go, Andruw Monasterio could draw another start.
