Clase went 6-for-22 (.273) with a double and a triple across 25 plate appearances this spring prior to Monday's move. The 23-year-old struggled in 34 games with the Blue Jays last season and hit .255 with seven homers, 30 steals, and a .738 OPS across 87 games with Buffalo.
